They may be considered facts if the basic underlying assumptions are held to be true. These axioms seem to be far more reasonable than those belonging to any religion... -------------------- Lt. Sullust Cogito Ergo Sum Polaris Posts: 2462 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

I'm not suggesting that you get the full blown effects of everything; I don't think Sony would intend that either. -------------------- Lt. Sullust Cogito Ergo Sum Polaris Posts: 2462 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

The only major difference in coding would be changing the spells, even then just naming a few of the differently would suffice. The rest of the change consists of changing monster names, and making the level start underground. As you go 'up' or 'down' the monsters get harder. Hawthorne being at the very top, and Grah-Hoth at the very bottom... -------------------- Lt. Sullust Cogito Ergo Sum Polaris Posts: 2462 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

Rather, it encourages members to participate more in the community. Those who make distinctions based on post-count and such are to blame, not the system. -------------------- Lt. I'm sure most of us would like to post more often; however, college is quite an endeavor. Free time, though occuring often, does not necessarily mean time to spend posting on the boards. -------------------- Lt. Even though the horses are invulnerable, they are unable to do any damage. Also, they are magically restricted from walking on certain Terrains, and darkness often frightens them. Their only use would be to make a blockade, but a portal could quickly fix that for the vahnatai. -------------------- Lt. It seems I was wrong. Exile Online has been replaced with an insurance site. This is probably the same fate Avernum Online can expect. Interestingly enough I did find this. I think it would be more that we would be playing with our level 70 characters and Imban would come around with a level 2 character and obliterate us. Either way, there is already an Exile Online site if you are really interested in it. Btw, slasher, it means Spidweb has taken your Exile soul and created a new Avernum one out of it. It could also be this substance known as Fluff. Very sticky and milky white, but it tastes great. Two pieces of bread some peanut butter and some Fluff and you've got yourself a great sandwich. -------------------- Lt. That wasn't quite my point. Spidweb owns these boards. If a parent decides to keep Spiderweb out of there home, Jeff becomes unhappy. What is bad for business is bad for the boards. I think we are forgetting that not all of the members here are as old as the rest of us. I'd personally prefer it that the youngest didn't go and ask their mothers what this tentacle thing is all about. The only way to prevent this is not to post it. -------------------- Lt. Both Bush and Kerry oppose a draft. There are two possibly reasons I can see for it. First and foremost as a reason to equalize the diversity of the forces in the army. This has been discussed already. Secondly, creating a draft will cause more young Americans to get off their lazy butts and become more politically active, probably against the war. -------------------- Lt. You need the power crystal I believe. If it is the same as on BoE, which I presume it is, then you need to head back to the surface. In the NorthWestern corner there is a group of goblins which has what you are looking for. -------------------- Lt. I'm not sure a "How to Play" section is really necessary. Reading the BoA docs(not the editor) should key a player in. Having it in every scenario's documentation would get repetitive and waste space. -------------------- Lt. Sullust Cogito Ergo Sum Polaris Posts: 2462 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

You just need to learn when to run away from a battle for the first few levels. Kill what you can and get out. Also, with a singleton you don't want to stress melee combat right away. It is much better to start out as a mage who can cast ice lances. Gain a few levels that way and then pick up your blades. -------------------- Lt.
