quote:Thanks. I was driven back by the temptation of new BoA scenarios, and the need to finally, really truly get my own going before I go insane from boredom. The last few classes I had involved not papers exactly, but various projects. The professors threatened us with failure, ridicule, and itchy rashes should we dare to plagiarize, but I don't recall my university's official statement on it. Since I don't plagiarize, I didn't really feel it that important to my life. Posts: 437 | Registered: Sunday, July 13 2003 07:00 |

I got much better results with my username on a different forum. With my original username, A HAM LORD IS was the favorite, resulting in a cartoon of a regal pig in ermine-trimmed robe and crown. After a name change, I got PELT ERNIE. Throwing things at Sesame Street characters is always fun. Now all I get is A AD REV A RAVED AD AVER AD RAVE Bah. How young do you have to be to qualify as part of the "younger generation"? I'm caught between trying to understand my mother's puzzlement at thumb drives and her utter inability to click and drag (she's been using computers for more than ten years, and she still can't click and drag) and not being able to understand anything my sixteen-year-old cousin ever says about computers. *feels old and young* Posts: 437 | Registered: Sunday, July 13 2003 07:00 |

That was just right at the beginning few zones. Once I get spells like Augmentation and better armor, my Agent is much more resistant to damage. But I used to have a lot of trouble starting out. Posts: 437 | Registered: Sunday, July 13 2003 07:00 |

I tend to boost my Endurance as an Agent a touch more than you folks seem to. On the occasions that enemies managed to run up to my Agent a turn or two after the start of battle, a hit would often take her out. I got tired of this. If I'm playing "wrong," so be it. Yawn...the old debate bores me to tears. I have no feeling one way or another, as I have used Macs for years and currently have a rather crotchety laptop running Win XP. It does what I want it to do, and that's all that I ask. If someone wishes to buy me a new Mac for comparison purposes, I won't say no to it. Posts: 437 | Registered: Sunday, July 13 2003 07:00 |

I speak English, a little French, and a little Latin (with a bad French accent). At one time, I was going to try to learn both German and Greek, but somehow that never panned out. Posts: 437 | Registered: Sunday, July 13 2003 07:00 |

Trust me, it is. You have to balance it carefully so that you are only drunk enough that you retain sufficient faculties. It helps if you had the game running before you started drinking. The attacks of the rotghroths in particular take on a new hilarity. *flails like a drunken rotghroth* Posts: 437 | Registered: Sunday, July 13 2003 07:00 |

On the contrary, I found that when I went back and replayed E3 after playing A2, those two extra characters rather annoyed me. You don't really need a fighter, a fighter/trap disarmer, a fighter/archer/lockpicker, a mage, a priest, and a mage/priest after all. (That's the way I always divided up the duties in Exile games, anyway.) Posts: 437 | Registered: Sunday, July 13 2003 07:00 |

I got used to the boats. It helps if instead of traveling from zone to zone like a good little player, you make extensive use of a certain cheat code. Unless you're one of those pure non-cheaters. Posts: 437 | Registered: Sunday, July 13 2003 07:00 |

Well, I'm a little confused about what you're asking, but I would write that sentence as: She said, "He walks down the walkway." The punctuation inside the quotation marks. Posts: 437 | Registered: Sunday, July 13 2003 07:00 |

WTF? There are two "for" votes now. A resounding against here. The only person I know with a DS is my incredibly spoiled cousin, and I seriously doubt that he even plays the thing. Posts: 437 | Registered: Sunday, July 13 2003 07:00 |

I wouldn't mind having Acid Shower replaced by something better. It's the one spell that I almost never think of, even though I almost always buy it. My obsessive use of Unlock is why I always end up with loads of living tools at the end.
