I have long hair by my own choice, but it doesn't hurt that my sister approves. Her advice is usually a good idea. It hurts even less that my grandmother disapproves. :P -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. Ouch. That tribute took me a while to figure out. -- Also, I'm interested in seeing your meat-based scenario when it comes out. Are you going to make the player fight a cult of militant vegetarians? A villainous necromancer who has stolen all the meat from a whole Imperial province to make flesh golems? Mmmh... Right now I'm restricting my game style to use no magic other than healing potions, mostly because the combat seems to have gotten so awfully tedious with the auto-revival. That this would technically enable me to get more powerful spells than I would otherwise (if I were to switch to using magic now) is kind of ironic though... -------------------- Encyclopaedia • Archives • Members • RSS [Topic / Forum] • Blog • Polaris • NaNoWriMo Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair. Mh... VCH appears to have posted something, and then edited it out again. What was it? ^__^ Anyway, my hair was once about as long as that (though a bit messier). Now it's not, although I'm letting it grow out again. -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. quote:Are you familiar with the term "to put one's foot in one's mouth"? It refers to having unintentionally made a comment that, in hindsight, sounded awfully embarassing/offensive. The example I was told of when I had the term explained to me: Complimenting a girl by saying "you have the skin of a seventeen-year-old peach." Oops! Foot in mouth. Foot-and-mouth. I still recommend Invision. However, when it comes to designing a database structure for the PPP archives, it seems I'm pretty much on my own. I do sleep, I just I model my sleep patterns after the current need. On the chat days I sleep from 6 pm to 1 am, so by the time the chat starts I'm well-rested and wide awake again. :) Edit: I freaked when I saw you had "added something" to the database, thinking it might be that memorable chat we had on Saturday. Edit: On second thought, the chat you did upload would have fit the category of "off the record" very nicely. So most of us are idiots. Heh. That would have been accompanied by "spidweb has entered the room", though. "xxx has signed on" comes up when you have a private chat window open and the other person signs on. I'm wondering what would happen if you made a chatroom named "RealArancaytar". Would you get messages whenever I sign off or on? Would you see all messages I send to anyone? Yes. I gradually grew weirder, but when I woke up last Saturday I realized I'dbeen transported to Fluffy Turtle Land in my sleep. It's a bit disorienting. After all, this is a second home to many of us - certainly so to me. I've been here longer than I've been in some schools. I've moved twice, almost three times, since I joined. And then it goes haywire like that. -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast.
