I just arrived on the island myself, and I'm not a member of any of the local guilds. And Wiseman, there's something wrong when I go to the WM forums. For some reason, my computer is not showing the latest posts, seeing as I just replied to the "Treading Through and the classical age RP (name?) and it's not showing on the main screen. And with that, FD rose and then left. Walking along, he walked down the street, ready to infiltrate something else. He noticed out of the corner of his eye a few shadowy figures in a alley. He kept walking, as to not to raise suspicion. He then crossed the street, doubling back to evesdrop. "I'd be glad to help you in fighting Baltazar." (See the posts above for the rest of the conversation) "Where and when are we supposed to meet?" Suddenly, FD was pulled around the corner by someone. Kel-Aziz: Looks like we have some unexpected company. Who are you, friend or foe, evesdropping on us? FD: Depends on what you mean by friend. Kel-Aziz: If your under the employment of Baltazar, then you aren't a friend and must be silenced. FD: I do not belong to any side so far. In fact, I'm here to investigate the island and it's leadership for the mainland. Seems that the King in a mainland country hasn't heard from his cousin, and ruler of this island, King Theodus. Kel-Aziz began to tell the story once again... OOC: FD will join up with Kel-Aziz and the others. He took out some of the stuff he "borrowed" from the barracks. One of them brought up something about a ceremony of some sort, the other, the location of a rebel base. After a hour or so, Firedrake finished resting and went back out into the night, but was stopped and guiding into the corner of the inn. Sneaking around, he snuck into the local barracks, many of the guards on watch. He waited for a guard to sneak past and then knocked the guard out. Swiping the guards gear, he snuck into the barracks. Noticing that the commander of the barracks was sleeping, he snuck into his office and began searching for information. He didn't find much except for a letter saying that the preparations for the ceremony would be done by the end of the month. He then snuck back out, giving the guard his gear back. He'd never know what hit him. However, people began to scream. Turning the corner, Firedrake noticed that a Greater Wyvern was attacking some people and the local guard was having trouble fending it off. Drawing his sword, he charged into battle. Greenswell managed to stop Zansar, but disappeared from the battle afterwards. Nobody has seen him since. OOC: Add what happens to your character afterwards if you want. All of the skeletons have been obliterated. The Zombie Dragons have ran, and the one dracolich has been severly injured and is parylized. Maestro and co. managed to kill all the death knights. The only one left in fighting condition was The Overlord. Greenswell and the Overlord clashed powerfully, neither side gaining an advantage. Suddenly, Greenswell trips over a skeleton, the Overlord moves in for the kill. Then, a large bolt of holy energy hits the Overlord. It's ef! Casting powerful priest spells, the Overlord is stunned. Maestro attacks the Overlord, obliterating his sword. Rasil shatter's his unholy shield. Kel-Aziz out of nowhere cleaves off one of the Overlord's arms. Greenswell hops up and concentrates power into his sword, sending a piercing blow through the evil heart of the Overlord. Everything grows silent... Overlord: Alas, I'm undone again... The Overlord begins to glow a darkish-red and then begins to explode. A huge flash occurs, sending all of the heros flying in opposite directions. All of the heros manage to get back up and live another day. However Greenswell feels that things aren't quite finished. Mabey it's nothing. They all head for the city hall with the surviving guards and warriors of the town. OOC: Finish up any other stuff. The plot was that hoards of zombies were attacking the town, adventurers fight them, some civil war of some sort between warring vampires, and some guy named the overlord behind it all. Everyday you write 6 or 7 paragraph plot changers. I've tried to tolerate it but yelling at another member of the rp for trying to work with the plot will not be tolerated. Consider this your warning. IC: Greenswell fought with the Overlord as the guard, Maestro, Rasil and co. fought the hoards of undead. The number of skeletal captains and champions were dwindling. Greenswell, Maestro, and the remaining guard waited near the center of town for any straglers to catch up. Then, all of them marched out into the town square. A large man wearing Death-black army stood in the middle. He was surrounded by skeletons, skeletal archers, skeletal captains, and skeletal champions. Several Zombie Dragons circled around overhead. A pair of deadly Dracoliches were positioned on each side of the man. Various vampires and ghouls were around. Even a few remaining zombies. Shades moved about ready to strike at a moments notice. Four death knights stood around. Greenswell: I'm guessing that your the bloody cause of this mess. ???: Yes. I will crush this town as a test of my power, then I'll turn towards the rest of this pitiful underworld. For I AM THE OVERLORD Lightning sound Greenswell: I doubt that. You haven't even been able to retain control of this town for more than a few minutes. Overlord: You won't live long enough to regret your words. NOW YOU DIE!!! With a flick of the overlords wrist, the undead began to attack. The guards had managed to flank the undead, and began their attack from the side. The final battle begins.... Zephyr, your getting fairly close to strike 2. IC: Crushing bone and teeth and claws, Greenswell tore into the deadly dracolich. Relizing it was losing, the dragon began to flail it's tail and arms wildly. Letting out a final breath attack, the dragon misses as Greenswell chops the dracolich almost in half. Immediately all undead practically vanished. The sky grew dark, and the wind became silent. Noticing a strong, dark presence gathering in the center of town, he left the fort walking towards what would be the final fight. Almost all of the remaining gaurds began to follow Greenswell towards the center. The Final Battle was at hand. OOC: Would all participating characters please report to the center of town for the final battle. Finish up any unfinished business and then go there. Anyways, this is the final wave. I'm running out of ideas for new undead. So once this last fight is over, it's over. After stomping another dragon, Greenswell noticed that there were getting to be fewer and fewer zombies. Suddenly, another group of zombies appeared. Taking a swing at one, Greenswell noticed that they did not fall apart. Greenswell: What? Strad Zombies? But how could they... unless someone drained them. Noticing that there may be a powerful mage or lich behind the attacks, Greenswell fights the zombies and wins. Several Shades get close, and Greenswell destroys them with a Dispel Spirit spell. Begin to get tired and surrounded, Greenswell made a run for the makeshift fort. As he was 30 ft from the building, a massive skeleton-like dragon landed right in front of him. Greenswell went into a roll as the Dragon breathed a mix of Fire, Acid, and Death. Hitting it a few times the dragon became silent, as if trying to concentrate. Greenswell suddenly was hit by a Chain Lightning spell, finally relizing that his enemy was a fearless Dracolich.
