Lavius woke in the middle of the night as the undead broke through the baricade downstairs. He grabbed a falchion off the wall and ran down the stairs assisting the guards in fighting off the undead. They escaped the house as zombies broke through the back door. The guards ran towards a fortification while Lavius ran off in the opposite direction. He was cut off by the undead. He ran for a while until he arrived at a barricaded house surrounded by zombies. OOC: I'll have Lavius help Tommy and Ironweed's characters out. Btw, Zephyr's character is powerful enough. I won't let him bring any overpowered pyrobeasts or anything like that into this RP. When I was a wee little kid, I had dreams about some freak chasing after me. I also had dreams involving people that all looked the same. I'd be alone somewhere and suddenly these people would show up and I'd wake up scared. I've also had dreams about a shadowy figure that'll attack me when I'm by myself. I'll be walking outside of my house in the dream and be near the street light, look between two houses and this shade thing would charge at me. I also had a few dreams inside of dreams. One was when I was in 2nd grade, I had a dream I was at a birthday party or something and a kid came inside and said a monster was coming to the house so, being like 7 or 8 hid behind a couch until I woke up. I was in my room, and I chuckled thinking that I was safe... until I got up to go to the bathroom and this huge monster thing came over and started stomping on me. Firedrake timed his attacks with Namothil's keeping Kel-Aziz fairly busy trying to fend off the double attack. Firedrake suddenly was hit by a stray lightning bolt, and in the confusion Kel-Aziz's waveblade sliced through his scale armor, cutting Firedrake's left shoulder. Firedrake stumbled backwards for a few seconds, confused as Kel shifted his focus back towards Namothil. Firedrake felt the effects of the powerful poison, but took out a potion, a gray potion, and drank it. The poison was now nuetralized, Firedrake waited a few seconds for the potion to go into full effect. Firedrake checked for any other potions, but saw he only had some of the grey potion left. "I can't get hit again," though Firedrake, as he re-entered combat with Kel-Aziz. Lavius set up a small fort on the graveyard side of town. As night fell, the undead became more restless. Quickly thinking, Lavius casted several undead wards on a building. A few of the town guard were also staying the night in the building, the entire bottom floor sealed off from the upstairs. "Time for some rest, and in the morning, I will try to end the attack by assaulting the graveyard," though Lavius. IC: Lavius and the others finished fighting, the necromancer and his undead fell quickly after the portal was shut. "This won't end until the necromancers are eliminated," thought Lavius. Firedrake concentrated as Baltazar put up his shockstorm, surrounding the barrier. "Hey Baltazar! Deal with this!" and he tosses a fireball at the portal... OOC: You can decide whether or not it hits Nazgul, and also, if your not going to include any demons in the final battle, you should create some reason the rebel soldiers disappear from the fight such as Baltazar warps himself and the adventurers to his own private arena somewhere. Lavius's flail spintered the Skeletal Captain, crushing the foolish skeleton into pieces. Chivon fights off several skeletons, and Galen kills the necromauncer with a well placed strike. "That was too easy..." shouted Lavius to the others. Suddenly, a large portal formed, and out came a new wave of undead and necros, this time backed up by spell casting spirits, deadly ruby skeletons, and quickghasts. The necromauncer turns the corner, summoning a skeletal captain, and then charges at Lavius and co. in an effort to kill them all off. Lavius turns and begins to turn the undead, obliterating and undead close to him, and warding some of the others away. The fight continued, the lich continued to avoid the trap. Namothil, Molek, and Eve fought with the lich. Jade, Eferas, and Delgar through spells. The lich swung, throwing Molek across the room. Eve slashed at the lich, but the lich casted a armor spell, and the blows did nothing. Eve was also throw across the room. Eferas tossed a Fireball at the liches face, stunning the lich. Namothil jump kicked the lich, catching it off guard, and it stumbled backwards onto the trap. Firedrake pulled the switch as SW gave the signal. The trap opened, the lich fell, but managed to grab on the ledge. He tried to pull himself up, but one of his own skeletons was knocked into the pit by a rebel soldier, taking the lich down with him. "Nooooooooooooo!!!!" the lich screamed on his way down. Lavius blocked the ice with his shield, and prepared for another icy attack, although it never came. Lavius looked up and then proceded to help Aran to fight the undead. Meanwhile, watching the battle from the shadows, a necromauncer waited. He had to report back to his leader. OOC: Time for a break between attacks. Lavius crushed the last zombie as the undead assault began to weaken. The last zombies had vanished and the town had finally gotten quiet. Noticing that the other 2 liches were dead, and that the third was aproaching he quickly signaled Jade, Eferas, Molek, Namothil, and Shadow Wolf, who was still recovering from combat with the lich. "Alright, I feel down a trap door earlier, remember? So here's the plan. There's one right by the door. So we wait for the lich to stand over it and me and Namothil will set the trap off, sending the lich into the depths. The path to Baltazar will be clear. I need Jade and Eferas to trick the lich into standing still on the trap or stall him in combat, and Shadow Wolf can signal us. After the signal, the trap goes off and the lich falls for a long time," said Firedrake.
