Am I allowed to do this? Here's mine, regardless. Shogarde Commune System of Government: True Communism Government Legitimacy: Moderate Government Stability: High Location: Northern Reaches Sphere of Greatest Influence: Damothar Islands Region Territory: Snowed plains/islands of far North Fiscal System: Commune/Basic Trade Fiscal Status: Poor/Staggering Economic Growth: Dwindling Standard of Life: Slightly Sub-Standard (considered Imports: Ores, Foodstuffs Exports: Ships, Fish, Ale, Mercenaries, Leather, War Population: 20-25,000 (if united) Recognized Species: Human, Nephil Populating Species: Human, Nephil Army: All men of Age, roughly 10-16,000 Comparative Technology Level: Poor Army Training: High* NOTE: Lacks formal training. Children raised for conflict due to the nature of the region. Comparitive to the Spartans, minus the tactics. These guys stick to hit-and-run amphibious assaults.) Army Discipline: Fair Diplomatic Status: Likeable, a good ally. Currently lacking an actual agreement with any one (or more) faction Traditional Enemies: Besides giants, none. Major Problems: Reckless nature, drunken warriors, distant homeland. Flag Description: (White) Hand gripping a war-axe, on an extremely deep red (in tradition, blood soaked) background. Clan standards vary, ranging from simple stripes to elaborate coat-of-arms. --- Call 'em "vikings", basically. (Check the tag on her shirt) Ah... just like I thought. "Made in Heaven". Do you have a mirror in your pocket? 'Cuz I can see myself in your pants. Are you legal? That's an ugly shirt... take it off. Now. Are you as easy as I am? I'm sterile. I'm like chocolate. I go straight to your ass! Bond. James Bond. I bet you'd be awesome if you didn't talk non-stop. Oh thank god... I finally found you! ("What?") The girl of my dreams! Thief! ("What?") You stole my heart five minutes ago... Are those space pants? 'Cuz your body is out of this world! I hope you know CPR, 'cuz you just took my breath away. Well well well... I finally found the true cause of 'global warming'! -------------------- The critics agree! Are people inherently amoral? in General | |

It's not about inherently being amoral. Think about this: Why do we do the things we do? We bully people. We pressure others. We fight. Why? I'll tell you... to get something. To win, to achieve. Things considered amoral by our culture are simply ways to get ahead. Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with it, either. But it is indeniable to have feelings to harm others when your possessions (or similar) are threatened. Just today at school, some jerk was harassing a good friend of mine. She clearly stated to stop, while he did not. Seeing as I, for some reason or another, take pleasure in helping people in such situations, I stepped up to deter this *******. While I did push him into the lockers (an act considered 'wrong' by most), my intentions were, as I feel, pure. Useless anecdote aside... definitions of "morality" aside... humans are capable of horrific things. Holocaust, anyone? -------------------- The critics agree! I still don't see the point. You hate Bahss and wish for progress? I respect (and agree with, to a degree) the decision, but something a little more constructive couldn't have hurt. Try Nethergate, I can hardly see anyone being disappointed. And from what I hear, the Geneforge series hits off well with newcomers. You might consider that as well (but def. play demo first). -------------------- The critics agree! Demonslayer is "a five star hit!" raves TIMES Weekly! "I've never heard such thoughtful comments. I kinda have a beard right now, because I haven't shaved in like 2 weeks. But I never had one before. Especially not two years ago. I seriously doubt Ep.3 can be as bad as 1 and 2. I mean, just given the plot, it HAS to be better. And (finally), it's returning to the series' more mature aspects, with much darker themes. Think ESB and the final duel in RoTJ. But hey, I admit I used to be a massive Star Wars geek. And as of late, I've been returning. And it feels good. -------------------- The critics agree! Ugh... SafeDisc is my arch-nemesis. Not because I do illegal things, but because I enjoy playing the games I buy. In regards to music downloads, my dad was recently sued because (mainly my-) brother (a little bit-) and I had downloaded quite a bit of illegal music files. They threatened for some ridiculous amount of money, but luckily we were able to settle. Anyway, the point is... it IS stealing. I know that means nothing to 99% of you, but lately I've become to sympathize due to recent events in my personal life. Granted, record companies are slobs and are a cause in themselves for human downfall, but the law is the law. So if you do it, don't get caught. -------------------- The critics agree!
