OOC: Well, since I keep getting caught up in other things, I'm gonna leave this RP like I left NSI(the first time), only with a better attitude about it. Sidenote: There isn't any ash or trace of zat fire. It's electricity. And they're SG-1 weapons, cause it's a great show, although the staff weapon was a bad idea, so it's in the hiding spot, where I'm about to go... or not. IC: *Macton quickly slips into 1 room. As he's looking around the now sealed room, he dies of a heart attack, thus removing him from the story, which he wasn't ever really in to begin with* OOC: Wasn't that lame? Oh well. Hmmm... Interesting. Not as productive as it could have been on a site where more people can understand the concept of answering the question with what is asked and not crap like "I don't want to rule the world..." or "You're an evil fool" or "Shut up Hitler" or "Quit with the Dark Ages BS". I'm starting to wonder why I even bother. Too many of you complain too much and complain too much about my complaining. But I'm usually complaining for a reason and you're it. Ack. Anyway. Back to the friggin point. If you don't want to rule the world, I'm not asking you what you'd do if you did. I'm asking the people who wouldn't mind having all the power of the ruler of the world. All I wanted was for some people to just answer my friggin question. Was that too much to ask. I purposely asked a general question on something you would think a lot more people would have something interesting to say on, and what happens!?! A handful of idiots and *******s have to come and ruin a perfectly good idea. And ya know what, I'm ****ing sick of it. It happens almost every time I try to do something here. This was the first forum site I ever jioned. As a result, I figured I owed it some loyalty. I tried my best not to screw things up for me here. I tried hard to not be an ass. I really tried. I made some progress, but not enough. And it's not all my fault. And that's the thing that really pisses me off. Too many people here has tried my patience for far too long. I know not everyone is out to destroy me, but too many people keep going on and on til I'm almost unable to just let it slide any longer. You self-rightious jackasses keep pushing me and pushing me while I do little in return. But you can only push me so far. And I'm at that limit now. I don't give a **** about your meaningless bull****. I could care less about your worthless opinions. This is cause you show me that same consideration. That nonstop *****ing about me spaming and whining, while others do that exact same bull****(usually worse than me) and they don't get the level of hostilities I keep getting. I'm tired of people ****ing telling me to do **** they won't do. I'm tired of people being all self-rightious and pretentious. I'm tired of people treating me like ****. I'm tired of playing the forum game with stricter rules than everyone else. I'm just tired of it all really. But since no one ****ing cares, there's no point in anything I ever say or do. It's never stopped me in the past, but it's worn me down over the years. Now I just wonder why I bother and what's the point. Statistics and personal experience as an exsoldier support my statement. Guard: Exsoldier? You were a soldier? Macton: Yeah. My unit used to do covert ops, but most of them died horrible deaths in a training accident. Without a unit, I had nothing to do, so I got stuck with a desk job for a few years and here I am. Guard: Well, since you are an exsoldier, I guess you can be trusted. And what you said about guards being replaced by intruders makes a lot of sense. Will you watch my back while I make my way back to my unit. Macton: Sure. Maybe we'll run into the intruders and I can show you a move or 2. Guard: I'd kind of like to see that. Well. Let's go. *Noticing that the guard's unit had long since left, Macton knocks the guard out and steals his cloths and equipment. Then he shoots the guard 3 times with his zat.* Macton: Ah. Flaming happens all the time around here, it's just less obvious, cause people are getting better at making it nonobvious(which kind of takes the fun out of it). Whenever there's a debate, there's almost always a flamewar(specially if I'm involved), which is stupid cause there's a fine line between debate and flamewar, a line which isn't that hard to avoid crossing. However, I would like to take the time out to say, that too many people can't tell the difference between real topics and spam(especially when it's 1 of my topics). Sometimes the people here need to lighten up. And whoever said we should vote to have people we don't like banned is an idiot and would probably get banned themself. Democracy is 2 wolves and a lamb deciding what's for dinner. That's about it for my random, but mildly intellegent, though off topic, post. *Macton awakens from his strangely long sleep(I'm asuming it was long, cause a lot has happened). He looks around for a bit only to realize that he couldn't figure out how he got in the airduct. After some moving around and searching, he falls through 1 grates onto some crates and some crewmember rushes to see what's going on.* Bob: Name, job, and business here. Macton: Jack. I'm one of the soldiers. Bob: Those are strange weapons for a soldier to have. Macton: Well, my unit made everyone buy their stuff with their own money, so I got my stuff at a factory reject store. Bob: What kind of military unit does that? None of ours do. So that means... *Macton shoots Bob 3 times with his zat and quickly flees the area* Macton: Note to self, Never claim to be with the military while on this ship. Note to self, conceal a few of these weapons. Note to self, find food and return to hiding spot. Note to self, buy batteries for this thing. OOC: No one ever really gave LF a shot at creating an RP, he always got shot down really early in it. So rather than do the same to you, I'll give you a chance. *pulls out old Rifts character sheet and archieved RP characters sheet* Character: Name: Macton Hair: Black Eyes: Brown Heigth: 6ft Weight: 150 Equipment: 2 Zat guns(1 shot stuns, 2 shots kill, 3 shots destroy the body), a gladius(for stabbing), 1 staff weapon(it shoot energy blasts), chainmail armor(JHM3's #1 choice in armor), 1 can of WD40, 3 lighters, 2 combat knives, 1 P90 w. nightvision scope, & a few grenades. Abilities: Kill stuff, BS, Outsmart idiots, Stab stuff, Blow stuff up, Set stuff on fire, ect. IC: Macton: Well, it would appear that they really want to put only the best of the best on this little ship. And yet they forgot to invite me. Well, I'm just gonna have to fix that. *After some waiting, Macton's chance had come. Some crazy dude had been taking shots at the guards. In the chaos Macton snuck inside the ship. 1. A Seperate Peace- There's just something about a long drawn out, boring, and highly meaningless story about a homosexual dude name Gene that just makes me want to go out and play in traffic. 2. My Sacrifice- While there is a very very long list of stupid really stupid songs I've heard, I chose this one, cause throughout all of the incoherant, inconsistance lyrics, the dude never once said, or even hinted at, what his sacrifice was. 3. Final Fantasy: Spirits Within- This movie was completely unworthy of the Final Fantasy name. They had no magic and the plot was unbelievably stupid. "Hey, let's go pay $7.50 to see a movie about some spirits who kill all living things they touch and then become not evil." That ranks right up there with that one movie where this giant moth was supposed to kill some evil giant insect. And a giant lizard came to help, but the giant moth turned on the lizard and sided with the evil insect. There are just too many stupid movies out there. The reason why the new boards die is cause no one wants to go there cause they're either already on another forum(ie Desperance) or just don't want to go. And the few you can get to go there get dragged away to another forum site(ie what happened to the Abyss). Too many people try to make forum sites at the same time, without offering anything grand to make being there worth the effort. It's hard to get new member to any forum site, but it's even harder when you're competing with sites that are well established. If you created a forum site, the greatest advertising in the world wouldn't work well enough, cause you have to get a lot of people to keep it going almost as soon as you create it, or it will die.
