General, you dissapoint me.. many people here enjoy to RP but ever since misc closed. pardon me for trying to make a mor friendly forum then *shudders* desperance . That is also a ver cold thing to say to a person that has put many man hours of their precious free time (im in the army) into developing a working forum. And that was no real reason to flame me anyway... an i learned my lesson about website advertising here long ago... waaaay back when the most popular topic was in misc and called "around the universe in however long it takes". Its not like i am a newbie... and besides! almost everyone has their website in their sig anyway! *calms down* but all i said earlier is true. Aha! well since we are spouting web sites.. My friends and i were sick and tires of the opressive envyroment which occurs when you try to RP on a board not MADE for RPing. SO we decided to make one ouselves! The first was a failure, after about 3-4 years of repeated attempts, we have reached our climax of development. Now open to the public, a fourm, with a (gasp) DOMAIN NAME! and tons of bandwidth. Like to spam? why we even have a (gasp again) spam forum! please do join and become a active member... WOW! thanks for the support guys! We plan on actually having a home page wich hopefully the search engines will pick up on, but at this point none of us are skilled at html. We flourished before, but we were using one of those crappy servers that went down every 2 days for 4 days so it really killed the topics. There is another thing to consider as well. If you attempt to judge someone by post count, then one of those "godlike" posters who have like a 5000 post count, simply forgets their password after having to leave for a month for whatever reason. Then when they come back under a new name and dont cat like a newbie, other dewbies get offended and a flaaming war erupts. then an admin struggle, well the same thing happend at the TAN boards, and now there closed. around 250,00 topics. Yes! that sounds like an awesome idea! Us history has been beat to death, so has greek mythology and norse mythology as well. i just wish that other software companys were as accomodating! you see, I ahve a game on palm pilot, called Warfare Incorporated. It is a tiberian sun like game and i love it to death, yet when i switched to a Pocket PC the serial number changed. To get us back on subject, its not the actual damage of a nuclear type attack that frightens the american publec, its the unknown. You see, with a truck bob, you get a bang, things flying around, bloody bodies, and collapsed buildings. If someone dropped a diry bomb, You "could" get raidiation damage. maby have mutant kids. Well, at least my member # id in the 1000 range, although i do envy you guys who have double or single didgit numbers. Its like being the witness of the beginning of time. Sit back and you can see the life flow into the boards, as friends talk to friends. I am member number 7 at RTF boards wich was created when the TAN boards erupted into an admin war. sadly, since it had a .tk adress it got no recognition, and had flounderd into decrepitness. ant the RP's there were unparelleled.
