OOC: I'm in. My mind is starving for a good RP IC: Name: Sitruc Nnyelb Age 26 Height 5' 11" Side: Other (Mercenary) Equipment: Shadow Slayer (Dark Katana), Ninja Gear, Ninja Hood, Agility Bracelet, Supernova Stars (Fire Shurikens), Boots of Speed. Background: Sitruc grew up in a large city. He was taken from his home at an early age and taught the fine arts of the ninja. He was employed by many different people who needed dirty work done but couldn't do it themselves. Little is known about him or his dark past. Sitruc looked down at the field below from his sheltered cave in the mountains. He had thought something like this would happen due to his actions, but he didn't care. The of Arcadina had payed him well to assasinate that official, but he couldn't say no. Not to that sum anyway. At any rate, the battle raging below couldn't touch him, and besides, he was a mercenary. He needed to pay for himself somehow... IC: As Izzannor is about to answer, a black snake crawls out from underneath the coffin. Charlotte sees it first and, with a mix of surprise and horror in her voice asks Izzannor "What is that thing, anyway?" "A Timatian Shadow Asp. Keep away from it. The can strike at lightning speed and..." This sentence was kept from being finished by Charlotte, who had been bitten on the leg by the asp and let out a scream of pain. Izzannor, who's adrenal glands supplied him with the speed and accuracy, jumped forward and sliced the snake's fangs off just as it was about to invenomate Charlotte. The tips of the fangs remained in her leg, but she was at least alive. "Let's get out of here!" Were the first words Izzannor spoke. Charlotte answered just with a nod. But just as they were about to reach them, a blast of stale, foul-smelling wind shut them, and a roar-like hiss was heard behind them. As Izzannor and Charlotte turned, They could see a massive black snake rearing up, its huge fangs dripping venom from its cavernous maw. Izzannor knew what had to be done. As the snake swept down to grab the two in a death embrace, Izzannor leapt down its throat. Charlotte, however, was caught, as she couldn't move herself with the fangs still in her legs. As it wrapped its coils around her, she drew her weapon and struck, but the blows just bounced off like the skin was made of granite. Charlotte's last thought before she slipped into unconciousness was "I hope he knows what he's doing..." Meanwhile, as Charlotte was having the life slowly squeezed out of her, Izzannor was looking for a way to kill the serpent from the inside. The snake's gastric juices were slowly eating away at his boots, he apparently found something that interested him. He picked up a golden blade off the ground, and, slicing throgh the stomach wall, he thrust his sword upwards into the beasts heart, turned it, and pulled it out. "It'll die of internal bleeding soon. Now to get out to Charlotte." At this he sliced through the skin to leave, and cut Charlotte free from the coils that bound her. He then proceded to use his magic to heal her... OOC: I'll stop there for now. OOC: Thats alright. I've been confused for Zephyr before, when he was Zephyr Tempest: The Wind Warrior, and it's not pleasant. As for not seeing clearly, that happens to me a lot, so don't worry about it  IC: "Uhhhhhnnnnn..." Izzannor slowly came to his senses to find himself in a large metal chamber. He and the others were strapped to large metal tables, and a pulsing sound could be heard constantly. Charlotte was already awake, while Toric snored contentedly. "Charts, been able to figure anything out about where on Gaia we are?" "Nothing about where, but from that humming, I'd say we say thhis chamber was surrounded by lava." Suddenly, a large metal door slid open with a pnuematic(sp?) hiss. Three Padoric Dwarves walked in, and the middle one, who was battle scarred and wore a sash of office, was apparently their leader. He spoke in a deep voice, which had a heavy, but hard to place, accent. "Who are you ta' goh snoopin' aroun' like tha'" Toric opened his mouth and let out something that sounded like a cross between a howl and a snore. "Gawoosnx..." Charlotte aswered with more than a hint of sharpness in her voice. "Snooping? What could we hope to find in that dead town up there? We thought it'd still be alive. We got to this desolate waste of a continent only today at noon, right Izzannor?" "TThat's right. Of course only you and I arrived today. That thing," he makes a hand motion towards a still sleeping Toric "has been here for who knows how long." "Well why where ya here in th' fiarst place?" "We wanted to learn something about what happened to this wasteland." "Yer stories have th' ring o' truth ta them. Release them, an' take 'em ta th' library." OOC: I'll stop there for know. I get something like that all the time. Whenever I stand in front of my bathroom mirror, I get the weird feeling I'm being watched. Of course, it could just be general paranoia, but I don't feel it in other people's houses. Just mine. And I also have an odd power of prediction. Sometimes, I'll get a fleeting vision of something before I even know it exists, and then, usually months later, I'll see a situation that I know that I had a vision. Does that ever happen to anyone else, or is it my frayed sanity picking up some extremely wierd psychic force? Am I a psychic, or just a nutcase?
