In order not to clutter up Spiderweb Resistance topic when Aran reopens it to celebrate the next chapter, I'm starting this topic as a place for all you spammers to get it out of your systems. This is the place for all those marginally related posts that don't fall into a current topics and any other comments on Dikiyoba's latest episode. This topic is to be closed when the UBB is about to eat it in disgust at its bloated size. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

I suppose that depends on what standard you use to determine 'marginally related'. In the loose definition that's been flying around recently, that's outstandingly related. -------------------- Nioca's Citadel Posts: 2686 | Registered: Friday, September 8 2006 07:00 |

Wouldn't this count as a posting game? Maybe we could run a word association game on the side, seeing as insanity is already visible in the distance and drawing closer at Mark II -------------------- *Eyes potential targets* Posts: 942 | Registered: Sunday, October 8 2006 07:00 |

Threads never stay on topic for very long, but the original would crash before the 6th chapter at the rate it was growing. This does give some people a place to get it out of their systems since they have a slow neuron firing brain when it comes to hitting the "add reply" button. You know, Dikiyoba cringed at the idea of this thread at first. But looking at the posts here, Dikiyoba now supports it wholeheartedly. :P -------------------- Episode 4: Spiderweb Reloaded • Episode 5: Spiderweb Resistance Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Might I also note that I swapped Greatswords recently? The new animal is much thinner and gains an extra 4+ to beat damage reduction. On that same scale it also losses extra melee damage (Slashing) but gains a 5+ to attack rolls due to masterwork crafting. I also altered the 15+ acid damage to 10+ Negative Energy damage. -J -------------------- *Eyes potential targets* Posts: 942 | Registered: Sunday, October 8 2006 07:00 |

It was highly humorous. I do see another ET versus the boards debate looming on the horizon though. -------------------- Nikki's Nook - You don't want to know. Posts: 2864 | Registered: Monday, September 8 2003 07:00 |

Nioca, you were wrong. ADoS, you were funny. Nikki, you may be right. Nija, you slapstick you. -------------------- Synergy, et al - "I don't get it." Argon - "I'm at a loss for words..." Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

Remember that there are children reading these. Or at least some that are on their second childhoods. Still I liked the revision. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

quote:News flash, Salmon: I'm right. Regardless of humor, ADoS was out-of-line with that little quotation of his. The last thing Jeran needs right now is someone tailing his every word with crap like what ADoS pulled. It needs to stop, not get a cheering section. I suppose if you believe that 7557 doesn't know exactly what kind of response he is provoking, then you are right. But I don't think he is as stupid as that, and see that ADoS provided the Laurel to his Hardy. You can't be that blind, can you? But Randomizer is right, about the little kids, and I sometimes forget that. Perhaps if ADoS couched his fyt in terms of bigger engine/faster car/better grades it would have been more acceptable. So please Nioca, accept my humblest apologies for doubting the absolute correctness of your opinion and position. quote:Tell me, Salmon, would you like me to follow up every single post you make with an insolent remark, day after day? (Actually, now that I think about it, you might enjoy it.) Regardless, his posting history and misguided posts today are not an excuse to rip into him at every passing opportunity. quote:You'll need to grovel more before I accept even the most humble of apologies. -------------------- Nioca's Citadel Posts: 2686 | Registered: Friday, September 8 2006 07:00 |

quote:See, this is where you almost see my point, but then lose it. The insolence is how you see the ADoS remark. How is it seen by the intended recipient? But yeah, I highly recommend doing fyts on my stuff. If you get proficient enough, I might even throw you some bones. -------------------- Synergy, et al - "I don't get it."
