While typically it is rude to destroy posts, I do not forsee this topic living too long, and it IS TM's 3000-post celebration topic. Despite Alorael having massive amounts of posts, 3000 is a heck of a lot.

Arancaytar, let's look at this from a cheater's (in other words, my) perspective.

To gain from using the sword normally :
- An easy fight

To lose from using the sword normally :
- The sword

To gain from stealing the sword from the scenario :
- The sword

To lose from stealing the sword from the scenario :
- The scenario

While clearly the boon of using the sword normally is nowhere near the boon of smuggling the sword out, the bane of using the sword is MUCH less (as it is no loss to your party - you did not rely on that sword, being as how you only had it for one fight) than that of smuggling it out. (you DID plan on beating the scenario, didn't you?) If the scenario is of any decent length, the fact that you would have to replay it should you engage in such actions would be deterrent enough, I should think.

And really, there will be enough uberitems to outfit my party with that you are supposed to keep that I won't need to smuggle illegal goodsz out of scenarios.
