*Imban stands up and glares at the golems.* "I guess Ablis was right. This place was attacked, and shortly after I got back." *Imban picks up Ravager from behind him and charges at one of the golems with it, hitting it in the chest with enough force that the golem is propelled backwards so that it falls over some tables. He then rushes at the fallen golem, but has to dive to the side to avoid a punch from one of the standing golems. He rolls out of the way of the golem's running kick, then leaps to his feet and quickly takes a step back to dodge another punch. A swing of Imban's halberd decapitates the offending golem.* "Now, to wrap up..." *Imban walks forward and slices the fallen golem's head off... and is hit from behind by a punch from the remaining golem. Crying out, he falls forward to the ground. Imban then rolls onto his back and strikes at the golem's head from the ground. It dodges the blow and raises its foot to stomp on Imban. He quickly turns his halberd so that its shaft is under the golem's foot and then pushes against it, slowly turning his right hand so that the ring on it faces the golem.* "...I win. Ram!" *A transparent red blast shaped like a ram streaks from the ring on his right hand and strikes the golem in the chest, causing it to fly a few feet backwards and land in a heap. Imban picks himself up off of the ground and walks over to the fallen golem before finishing it off with his halberd.* "Well... that was interesting... except for the part where it hurt, yeah." *Imban staggers back over to his seat.* Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

*Having travelled quite some distance out of the way, Imban is now seeing by torchlight, the light illuminating nothing except the odd rock formation and his green armor. Suddenly, its light shines upon a red-robed figure.* "I thought I felt your presence." "More like I called for you." "Why? Do you plan to attack the Silvar Inn or something?" ""Silvar... Inn? Why the heck would I go and blow up some inn in some town... oh, it's one of those places." *The red-robed man massages his temples with right hand, then looks at Imban.* "Yeah, it's most certainly going to get attacked by someone. I hope they're ready." "Well, I've been defending it against the odd people attacking each other... and supposedly, a group of us headed off a Wyrm attack." "So you're prepared... decently?" "I think so. But it's an inn, not a fortress." "Places like that sometimes need to be both." "I don't think we need anything else..." *The red-robed man sighs.* "Your doom. Anyway, do you have it?" "Yeah." *Imban pulls an orb of dark glass with swirling balls of white energy inside of it out of his pack and hands it to the red-robed man.* "Thanks." "Oh, great. I just realized. There's this person there, ef... I think she has some sort of long-distance vision powers." "And you think she's seen this? You should have thought about that earlier, Imban." *The red-robed man gestures in the air, acid-green lines trailing behind his hand, weaving the magic to create an anti-scrying barrier.* ... *Four hours later, Imban returns to the Silvar Inn and takes a seat again.* Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

*Imban looks at the newcomer, but then suddenly looks off into space oddly.* "Guys, I've got to go. I'll be back, but I encourage you guys not to follow me." *He then hops up from his resting position, goes to the general store at Silvar to buy torches, water, and rations, and heads off into the caves.* [ Thursday, June 19, 2003 14:57: Message edited by: Imban ] Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

This thread drinks the drink of shame and asks for another. A warning to Felwynne for being lame and impersonating FB. Also a shooting to tGM for starting the mimicry. :P By the power vested in me by the Cabal, I consign this thread to the flames and ask God what we have done to deserve this sort of thread. :P [ Thursday, June 19, 2003 12:10: Message edited by: Imban ] Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

*Imban looks up from his thinking and waiting for trouble.* "Wow, things have been calm here. That's good, I guess... and with any luck, I didn't just jinx us." *Imban turns to Rey.* "You look like you can fight. While they don't have very deep pockets, goblins do carry money, and it shouldn't be that hard to off them." *Imban then turns to the newcomer.* "Heyas. Welcome to the Silvar Inn. Alex over there's the proprietor and barkeep." Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

*Imban returns to the inn, having returned from his minor adventures.* "Well, hmph. I heard about the Wyrm attack, but I guess that I missed it. I guess most everyone's out doing that..." *Imban sighs and takes a seat, looking around the inn to try and discover who the heck is actually there.* Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

OOC : Zephyr, if you wish to rejoin, you're going to have to do so with a new character. Note that (at least in my opinion) one can only rarely if ever be brought back from the dead. Sacrificing yourself for everyone else seems kinda lame if you know you're going just to be brought back afterwards, and a duel to the death between two characters has no tension if death is not to be feared. --- *Imban wakes up from the table he spent the night at waiting for something else to choose to attack the inn.* "I really should get myself a bed next time..." *Imban walks over to the checklist and puts a check next to game room, then walks back towards his table.* "Alex? I need a drink... another milk, since I'm going to be going out adventuring later today and don't quite want to get drunk." It annoys me when people remake threads that were closed for a reason, when people do dumb things and then wonder why they get screwed over, and when the difficulty in a game decides to all show up at once to visit me. :P [ Thursday, June 19, 2003 02:48: Message edited by: Imban ] Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

While you could just download BoE and read the blurbs, I'm bored. Valley of the Dying Things - Things start dying in a valley on the surface which used to house an Imperial School of Magic. A Small Rebellion - There's a small rebellion going on against the Empire. (This scenario is good because you can join the rebels or stay with the Empire - it's not just a happy slashfest.) The Za-Khazi Run - Take supplies to an Exile fort under siege by Sliths (who are attacking it because they are Sliths) by travelling a dangerous route, the Za-Khazi Run. ...also, the only one of them with plot which can really be spoiled is VoDT - the moral choice in Small Rebellion is pretty plain, and Za-Khazi run is pretty obvious. If you get there on time, you win. If you don't, the fort loses, but as I recall you still win. :P [ Thursday, June 19, 2003 02:34: Message edited by: Imban ] Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

*Imban sighs* "I'm not sure that was necessary, but hey..." *Imban walks over to Si-er's body and quickly searches it for anything of value before putting it all in Alex's donations box.* "There. That should help cover repair costs after that fool's Earthquake spell. His masters should know that there's more to wizardry than just power. There is also knowledge. Eh, Aiyosz? Mind cleaning up after yourself?" Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

*The music box clatters to the floor in the earthquake, the music stops. Imban looks at it, looks at Si-er, looks at the general destruction caused by stuff falling off of walls, and moves his right hand slightly so that it makes a fist towards Si-er on top of his leg.* "Ram!" *A bolt of red energy in the shape of a small charging ram flies from a small ring on Imban's right hand. It tears through the air at an incredibly fast speed before slamming into Si-er's chest, the force of it propelling him into a wall upon which he hits his head and is rendered unconscious. The stolen gun clatters against the wall, 5 feet away from Si-er's body. Imban walks over and picks up the gun and hands it back to the slith, then picks up Si-er's unconscious body, takes it upstairs, and puts it on a bed in a vacant bedroom before walking back down." "E-Master, you might want to think before doing something rash. Anyway, if you just go and take a room, Alex will probably understand if you pay him in the morning." *Imban walks back to his seat, yawning. He picks up his music box and sets it back on the table, cranks it again, and then opens it again.* [ Wednesday, June 18, 2003 17:49: Message edited by: Imban ] Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

*Imban sighs* "Will you all calm down? Here, I have something else for you to put your minds on..." *He then produces a small box from his pack, which he places on his table, turns a crank on, and opens. A song pours forth, telling of the adventures of a fearless paladin, an experienced ranger, and a beautiful summoner, leading up to their eventual triumph over a demon lord.* Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |
