Implementing some sort of backpack that you can take between scenarios, outside of having a second character as a pack mule, would be impossible. Implementing some sort of backpack or holding space in a single scenario might be possible, but I'm really not sure how I'd go about it. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

Actually, after hearing a complaint or two, I'll tolerate multiple posting if the second post is both not spam and not an extension of the first post. For example, if you're going to write two long replies to previous posts in the topic, you can feel free to quote and address them both in separate posts. The edit button should still be used to make changes and add postscripts, however. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

1) BoA - really versatile scripting language, more advanced graphics BoE - lots of good scenarios 2) BoA - scripting language is hard to learn, not many scenarios released yet BoE - nodes are severely lacking in some ways, graphics could be considered really dated 3) BoE is easier if you're just going to throw something together, with no really complicated features. However, BoA's scripting language is much more powerful and versatile and can help you put together what you want rather than what the editor lets you do. 4) BoA... sort of. The zillions of almost-never-used BoE terrain sets out there could make for some really unusual adventures, should someone choose to use them. BoA's scripting, however, can make your actual designs much more varied. 5) Both are great fun in their own ways, although BoA needs more scenarios. 6) I don't really think it can replace BoE for just pure fun until there are many more scenarios designed for BoA. Hopefully, though, BoA scenario design should (for the most part) replace BoE scenario design, so us BoA players can have something to do. BSC> Nothing. VWM screwed up and I called him on it. The actual "group" is the AEUG (Anti-Earth Union Group), which is the terrorist organization to which the protagonist of the anime Zeta Gundam belongs. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

Did anyone else see the topic title and immediately think of BIGG SKULL? EDIT : Anyone who immediately thought of Zankozzie instead should be shot, of course. [ Tuesday, June 22, 2004 05:56: Message edited by: Imban ] Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

Can't help you with the first one, but as for the second, unless you use some system of passwords (which a semi-determined player could easily find by looking at the scrips), you can't carry anything from scenario to scenario. EDIT : Er, I meant that as from a designer's perspective. You can't identify normal items as being from your previous scenario, you can't keep SDFs with the party, and you can't keep special items. E-mail Spiderweb about this, including your name and address, rather than posting on the boards. It'll get you results faster, as then they can look up your order and see what happened. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

If *i didn't make it clear enough, it was never released at all. Anyone who has it has what amounts to a leaked, very unfinished copy. It will be released, complete and for both platforms, once Stareye's done with it. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

Yeah, but quite a few of the oddities came across as much more of "ah, why the hell" than funny. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

I know you could leave, but you had to backtrack through two really long floors. (if you ran out of SP where I did, which was right before the third floor) Also, taking damage from the drop every time you re-entered the dungeon was mildly annoying, but oh well. The lack of unique treasure was disappointing, but tolerable. A mage selling priest spells came across as odd, though. Use their "easy upload manager" or whatever on their page builder, and just post the link. Seems that, if this does exist, it's probably the Bandit Busywork equivalent for BoA and was included by mistake. It's not in the PC version, for sure. And not in earlier Mac versions, either.
