Bows are more powerful when it comes to unique abilities. I killed many a giant by consistantly pelting them with submission arrows. Acid arrows didn't hurt either. Well, actually, they hurt quite a bit, but they helped me. :D EDIT: Vows may be powerful, but bows are the point of this subject. :) [ Wednesday, September 20, 2006 18:46: Message edited by: Nioca ] -------------------- Scenarios need reviews! A more pressing concern is the fact that everyone here thinks that all the rich elite are bored and fat. It's possible to have non-bored, skinny elite. :D -------------------- Scenarios need reviews! Thanks, Garrison. I just sent it out (sorry for the delay). I wouldn't mind having at least one more person testing it, though... Anyone else? -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. Needless to say, I failed. Posts: 2686 | Registered: Friday, September 8 2006 07:00 |

Wow. Why did he get banned? (I have a pretty good idea, but I just want to confirm.) EDIT: That's what I thought. Hey! I'm a mercenary! Oh... Emperor Tullegolar was a mercenary... This can't be a good sign... [ Tuesday, September 19, 2006 10:07: Message edited by: Nioca ] -------------------- Scenarios need reviews! Too true. I'm actually a little suprised that dialogue has recieved just one vote. I think I know which scenario you're talking about, too. ;) -------------------- Scenarios need reviews! This might be an odd thing to beta test, but I want a few people to test my prototype script elitenpc. I want to make sure it behaves as it should in multiple situations, and doesn't cause any errors or problems. A few details about the script: It has a new targetting system, which should make creatures absolutely viscious in combat. It is extremely flexible, allowing you to change a creature's level or special ability by setting a memory cell. It's death state is dynamic, letting you choose whether you want to set a flag or call a state. It has a built-in sniper mode, which lets archers and spellcasters do optimum amounts of damage. The creature will alert other nearby creatures when it gets a target, preventing the party from luring it away so they can fight it by itself.I want testers to try out as many features as possible. Any takers? -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. Needless to say, I failed. Posts: 2686 | Registered: Friday, September 8 2006 07:00 |

Then it's a good thing I'm going for a perfect 10... Maybe not. But I certainly am shooting for it. I'm keeping my scenario as polished as possible, without losing the plot. The poll is turning out pretty much as I expected, with Good Plot at a whopping 80%. What does suprise me is that not one person has voted for combat. Considering this is an RPG, it's somewhat unexpected. -------------------- Scenarios need reviews! Please rate these scenarios at the CSR after playing them! Or you could just keep posting about how the post count is so low. If enough of us post about it, the numbers will bounce back in no time! :D EDIT: I'm number 21 in the rankings? Wow... EDIT 2: Come to think of it, if this thread continues at it's current rate, post counts may hit record highs. EDIT 3: Well, now with Emperor Tullegolar banned, the above topic is as good as dead. I sure do edit a lot, don't I? EDIT 4: Fixed a small error. EDIT 5: Well, the above topic may not be dead yet... If my vote counted, I would have to say good combat, with plot and dialogue as a very close second and third. You see quite a bit of combat in scenarios right now that either is too easy or is just mind-numbing. In one or two scenarios, I actually dodged fights, not because they were too difficult, but because I couldn't stand to sit through another dull fight. EDIT: Now that I think about it, I forgot the "I don't really care" option. :) [ Monday, September 18, 2006 10:34: Message edited by: Nioca ] -------------------- Scenarios need reviews! I don't know about Exile, but he said that he would not make A4 in a review somewhere... I don't know where, though. He also said something about it, of all the weird places to put it, in the A4 instructions. EDIT: One minute slow. Why am I cursed so?!?!? I need a graphic for my scenario, Agadia Isle. It's not required, but it would make the scenario look more polished. Anyway, I need a set of cobblestone walkways made into hills. Like floor 123, but it's a slope. I don't need corners, just walkways in the four cardinal directions. Thanks in advance. -------------------- Scenarios need reviews! Compare it with Canopy. If it's language isn't as bad as Canopy, mark it Teen. If it's just as bad, or worse  , it's Mature. -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. Needless to say, I failed. Posts: 2686 | Registered: Friday, September 8 2006 07:00 |

I have a beta report winging it's way to you. Hopefully you will find it satisfactory. One thing I feel I can safely say about the scenario (Without giving anything away, that is), is that either the content rating needs to be increased to 'Teen' or 'Mature', or the dialogue needs to be changed. The language used can get rather... intense, to put it mildly. -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. Needless to say, I failed. Oops, I thought you were referring to that massive room with the runes that pretty much kill you. Also, somewhere on the south wall of Khoth's chamber is a secret door, which will allow you into another one of his libraries. -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. I stand corrected; most of them didn't die out. If you really want to get picky, I failed to include Rotgroths and Rotdihzons too. However, Vlish wouldn't stand a chance against a Gazer, and Glaahks would go down fairly quickly if weren't guided. Besides that, most creations were made sterile. Therefore, some species would die out simply because they couldn't reproduce. Other species would die because of natural selection, and some simply lack any sort of independent survival skills. This would also further hinder human redevelopment. -------------------- Scenarios need reviews! Please rate these scenarios at the CSR after playing them!
