For some reason, EM's Graemlins page is a restricted page and I can't access it. I looked through the list of restricted pages, though, and couldn't find it. I even put it in my Trusted Sites list, and I still can't access it. What's going on?

I use IE, by the way.

I, personally, have found in my experience that not only that no religion currently in existance can be proved absolutely without wild assumptions, but also that atheism is just as unprovable as any of those religions. Therefore, I try to simply hold ideas, not beliefs. I like ideas because an idea can change and evolve with new information, new data, new experiences. Beliefs are much harder to change.

As a side note, if this thread degenerates into a flame war and is not redirected, I just made a new "l0xx0r plz" image that I want to use.

I mean he told me that he would post the results before the deadline so that people could change their votes, in case they voted for someone besides the person they wanted to win because they took it for granted that that person would get in anyway.

I thought you said you were going to post the results so people could change their votes. What happened to that?

EDIT: Also, giving your votes to Thuryl is a waste. He's already in the finals. Give them to Stughalf instead! You can always change it afterwards if Thuryl somehow gets pushed out.

Someone must reassign their votes from Arancaytar to Stughalf! He already has all my votes, so I can't do anything.

EDIT: If not Aran, actually, TM would work too. He has a snowball's chance in hell of actually getting the moderator position, even if he does win the election. Don't waste your votes on TM!

"Terrific" therefore, is a completely useless word, because it has two meanings that are exact opposites. The only way to know which one a person means is by taking it in context. Even then, it's often impossible to tell.

I just finished listening to The Planets, performed by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Herbert von Karajan, with my computer's volume maxed. Here's my opinion:
Mars, Jupiter, and Uranus were all approximately tied for my favorite, but if I had to pick just one, I'd probably say Mars. Venus and Mercury are about even as well. They're pretty far behind the top three, but they're still really good. Neptune and Saturn I didn't really like. They both seemed pretty empty to me. I'd have to say I like Saturn better than Neptune though.
I don't know what Alec meant by "astral", but to me, all but Neptune had a sense of the power of a planet to them. Neptune just seemed to be lacking something that the others had that made them great pieces.

As a side note, The Planets made me decide to set my desktop wallpaper to a picture of Saturn, and save wallpapers of all nine planets into a folder. However, the only wallpaper-shaped image of Mercury I can find is a collage of satellite photos and looks really bad, and I can't find any photos of Uranus that include the rings. Can anyone help me out here?

Also, the day Alec started this thread, a three-topic sample issue of Kids Discover magazine arrived in my mailbox. The first topic was The Solar System. Coincidence? Probably.

Fate is apparently by WildTangent. DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT! It is well-known that WildTangent programs are always full of spyware and adware.
As for free games, I enjoy playing Cheese In Space occasionally. I don't know where to find it online, though. It's very short (it takes less than three minutes to play to completion) and very stupid (everything is just clicking on little pictures of cheese that appear in the window of the ship, with the exception of the "endboss" which requires pressing Ctrl), but worth playing if you're absolutely desperate for something to play.

I went to see a bonfire up in Rockport tonight. It was big. They had a big pile of wooden pallets with a little house on top. It was really hot.
Before that, I went to a restaurant and had stuffed baked haddock.

Also, I just received word that my cat KitKat's daughter Cutie, who belonged to my uncle, died tonight. She was sick, I think. All I know is she wasn't eating for a few days. Everybody should grieve for Cutie now.
