Custom graphics go in the scenario folder, not the Data folder.

EDIT: In case that's not how it works on a Mac, I'll rephrase it. You're putting the custom graphics in the same file as the graphics that come with BoA, right? You don't do that. You put them with the scenario they're supposed to be used with.

But will you make the vote counts public? I think it's important that you do so. Let's say most people want Thuryl to win, but they know that Thuryl is the most popular. What if everyone votes for someone else because they think Thuryl already has a sure shot, and he ends up not getting into the finals? I don't think that would be very good.

It's not an idiom. I mean it literally. At rock concerts, there are often pyrotechnics. You know, flames, fireworks, etc. I was suggesting that he do them "the old fashioned way", i.e. pumping an open fire with a bellows, as one would in a forge.

Oh, is the harmonium more like an accordian? Maybe you could play an accordian. They sound good in rock music, even though they're not used nearly as much as they should be. They Might Be Giants seem to be the only ones who use it.

You know what instrument I don't hear much of? The oboe.

I bought a bass guitar, but I gave it up. I'm just not dextrous enough. I have a good singing voice though, and I have pretty good range. I can sing falsetto and whatever the word for singing in a deep voice is.
I can also drum simple beats on my desk, if that counts.

Nathan and Stephen Ashby used to pretend to be one person, known as The Creator. They co-authored all of the scenarios attributed to "The Creator". They fooled pretty much everybody. Recently, they announced on The Lyceum that they are two people.

Hey, Andy! What brings you back? Couldn't stand to be away from us anymore?
I ask that you please direct yourself to the thread at the Lyceum in the BoE discussion forum about The Archive. We're missing some scenarios, and hopefully you have some of them. That is, if you have both the time and the inclination. This is a request, not a demand.

I like to be happy and content. I've been in such a mood for a month or two, but I will most likely end up depressed for several months again as a result of my disorder. Luckily, I recently discovered that listening to "cheer up" songs (especially while being someplace peaceful) can help me avert depression. Here's my "Cheer Up" playlist, so that other people who suffer from depression, bipolar disorder, etc. can listen to the songs and hopefully be helped by them:
Electric Light Orchestra - Hold On TightGeorge Harrison - All Things Must PassModest Mouse - Float OnRingo Starr w. Ozzy Osbourne - Vertical Man (this is my favorite from the list)The Beatles - BlackbirdThe Beatles - Here Comes The Sun (not a "cheer up song per se, but it helps me)The Beatles - Let It Be (the lyrics are "cheer up", but the song has a very subdued mood to it, so be careful with it if you don't know how it will affect your mood)The Rolling Stones - Mixed Emotions (seems to be about bipolar and similar mood swinginess specifically, rather than simple depression)Nobuo Uematsu - Airship (not really a "cheer up" song, as it's instrumental, but it helps me a lot. It's from the Final Fantasy XI soundtrack. The sound of the synthesizer reminds me of something from the old Sonic the Hedgehog games, actually.)I also want to add Bobby McFerrin - Don't Worry, Be Happy to the list, but I don't have it yet. There's a plastic fish you can hang on your wall that sings that song and one other song. Big Mouth Billy Bass,I think he's called. He amuses me.
Once my mood is stabilized by listening to those songs, I listen to songs with generally cheery, upbeat moods, in addition to the songs from the "Cheer Up" playlist. The songs from the "Be Happy" playlist (not including those from "Cheer Up") are:
Dire Straits - Walk Of Life (most of their more popular songs seem to be pretty subdued and depressing, though, so be careful with them when you're depressed)Electric Light Orchestra - Mr. Blue SkyGeorge Harrison - Crackerbox Palace (note that "the lord" he refers to is himself, being the lord of the house. The song is a silly nonsense song about his house, I believe. If you're religious you can interpret it however you want though.)Nobuo Uematsu - Rufus' Welcoming Ceremony (from the Final Fantasy VII soundtrack)Queen - Don't Stop Me Now (corny lyrics though)The Beatles - Cry For A Shadow (cheery guitar solo, don't be fooled by the name)The Beatles - Getting BetterThe Rolling Stones - You Can't Always Get What You WantI've only gotten the chance to use this method once, but I think it might work again. Hopefully I won't need it again for a good long time though.
