In addition, the discussion would serve as a good introduction to the Beatles for someone not closely familiar to their music (as opposed to, say, 1 or 2 'big songs' and their status as cultural icons, which is ubiquitous), and it'd be an entertaining discussion for those more familiar. Exactly. Far too many casual pop/rock listeners assume that the best of the Beatles is to be found on a single disc like "1," whereas quite the opposite is true. Practically every Beatles record is a greatest hits collection, and I'd appreciate it if more listeners were aware of that.
