I'm a percussionist and a bit of a pianist as well as a composer. I like just about any type of music (quite literally). The only music I won't listen to is music which demostrates (through lyrics) ignorance. I won't name any names, but I'm sure people can come up with a few modern groups who might be on that list.. but anyway.

Why is pre-baroque offensive? There is renaissance music which includes Byrd, Palestrina and others and before that was medieval which were people like Machaut. Plus both eras had tons of folk sons and dances which were anonymous. One reason why they may sound odd is because they tuned their instruments differently and we play the songs (to the best of our ability) on modern instruments whose tuning derives from the Baroque era (Bach, et al.).
All that aside, this doesn't take much into account non-western music (native american, africano, oriental, etc) all of which I also like.

As for leveling with th 5th/6th characters, you could just have multiple versions of the same character that, certain points in time, switched from one to the other. I can't explain this script-wise... but I'm sure it is plausible.

I was wondering if anyone was going to incorporate this guy. He's kinda a neat concept as he seems to like making references to other scenarios. Perhaps he could start making references to other people's scenarios (besides Jeff's of course) in there own, and vice versa? Plus he seems to give out teensy little quests as well.

Perhaps at the Lyceum or elsewhere, it might be possible to allow web surfers to vote so that you had an average 'user-rating' as well as the reviewer's rating (as well as the SpidWeb rating if was put on Jeff's site)?

I had lost the unicorn ability as well for one of my characters (I have two). My magic user lost it when I had lost track of whether or she had used it that day. Although, at the time, I had not realized that I had lost it until much later (when I had noticed that only my fighter still had it; fortunately it works for the entire party at once). Atleast, now I know why it disappeared in the first place.

In BoE, I had played through on the Empire's side so when I got BoA I decided to play thorugh on the rebels'. I was dissapointed with the type of reward you recieve from Stalker (Blessed Long Sword), especially considering the reward you recieve from Jaen in BoE (Prismatic Plate)(and ESPECIALLY considering that I ALREADY HAD a Blessed Long Sword that I had found along the way!). Would I have still recieved a Prismatic Plate (I think that that's what it was called anyway; it's been awhile) from Jaen in BoA?

Goblins and the like are generally considered beasts by all of the other 'smart' humanoids (humans, nephilim/nepharim, slithzerikai, and vahanatai). We don't know the history that caused the goblins to become basically thieves and brigands and bandits, but they are not considered anything but pests.

I killed them... took a bit of strategy.. (especially considering that i have two party members: a human 'protector' and a slith 'sorceress'). I had to concentrate all of my efforts on defeating the 3 shamans outright before doing anything else. To do it, i had used 2 haste potions per character before i went in. I also used my fire wands and blessed bolts from my fighter and steel javelins for my sorceress and used level 4 war blessings on both of them and so on and so forth. I basically made it so that my fighter was picking off the shamans one by one, ignoring the others (i had also slowed down the shamans and others with level 4(?) slow. After they were dead, it was just a matter of picking off the fighters and the regulars. It took me a few tries to figure out the best strategy though.

My current trouble is the Dark Wyrm underneath the blood glee clan's hideout. But i know you don't need to kill it. (it doesn't breath darkness anymore. It attacks 3 times in a row, the second two are potent acid attacks.)

Interestingly, in Heroes III, the Dragonbone Greaves are worn in the stead of boots or shoes (as there is no pants slot in HoMM3).

My only thought is that they would probably go in the Pants slot (if you were so inclined) but I wasn't sure as greaves are worn on top of pants/padding.

I noticed, poking through the item graphics file, that there are graphics for leather and metal greaves. Is there a new item type called "Greaves" or, if the graphics were to be used, is it implied that they would be an alternative to Pants?

Whelp, the source code was included, so, if you wanted to mangle a version of the BoA Scenario Editor of your own using C, you could make one which included a visual picker for the monsters and items yourself.
