Welcome. You're not saying that Nethergate is a cure for your insomnia, are you? Well, let's see here... You won't be able to get into the Spire for some time, and you will know when you can, so don't worry about it too much just now. There is more to Galag-Trav than you have yet found. It doesn't go down another level, but there are four secret areas to be found on level two, plus two more minor ones. Keep poking around. If you're out of patience, you can find them listed by general location in my NR Items list linked below. The list is basically full of spoilers of a sort, so don't look unless you're sure you want to. Also, there is a FAQ to the old NG game linked through the header in this forum, which is still useful for much of Resurrection for many more tips. Do you remember where you found the lost ball? It's not far, as the crow files, from the boy who lost it. -S- [ Friday, June 15, 2007 21:28: Message edited by: Synergy ] -------------------- A4 Items • A4 Singleton • G4 Items • G4 Forging • G4 Infiltrator • N:R Items • The Lonely Celt • A5 Items • A5 Map Posts: 2009 | Registered: Monday, September 12 2005 07:00 |

I must say, the Manchester dance scene doesn't quite live up to it's reputation. There's an URL lurking about here somewhere, if you're clever enough to find it. Think grammar. -S- -------------------- A4 Items • A4 Singleton • G4 Items • G4 Forging • G4 Infiltrator • NR Items • The Lonely Celt Posts: 2009 | Registered: Monday, September 12 2005 07:00 |

For the degree of reverence afforded to centuries-old Byzantine art by the Orthodox Church, it sure is tedious for me to contemplate. I have an older brother and a roommate who both happen to have become Orthodox, and the obligatory proliferation of iconography in this style is an assault on my delicate aesthetics. I don't get it. Whenever something becomes static, it takes on the stink of atrophy and decay in my nostrils. (Simple translation): what makes one old, flat art style so special and sacred? In all fairness, the icon above in tile is more interesting than most. The lion is gorgeous. I want to pet da kitty. And that would probably be the end of me. It is mildly interesting to see what license plates look like in New South Wales. What is the point of all this? There is no point. Probably like the original post. -S- [ Thursday, June 14, 2007 03:27: Message edited by: Synergy ] -------------------- A4 Items • A4 Singleton • G4 Items • G4 Forging • G4 Infiltrator • NR Items • The Lonely Celt Posts: 2009 | Registered: Monday, September 12 2005 07:00 |

This online forum is like real life in that you will so typically get out of it what you put into it, and that especially includes attitude. It's really no great mystery to me in life how to evoke being treated the way you want to be treated in general. There is little that warms my heart greater than to see a person take accountability for his/her own experience in the world and to recognize how much power (s)he has to craft it. I take accountability for the experiences I have had here. I have had the power to start, stop, and change my experience here, and have done all of the above at some point. Elitism is an equal-opportunity predator, if you ask me. It's simply very human, and I can see it in religion, science, and any political party alike...and in any online forum I've ever frequented. I can see it in you and I can see it in me. It's something we all tend to have in some area of our life to some degree, until we outgrow it and grow into our confidence of just being who we are and seeing that as sufficient. Elitism is a basically a front, a ruse, a persona we hide behind. None of us is above it. ... This forum is unlike real life in that there are no real relationships here. :P -S- -------------------- A4 Items • A4 Singleton • G4 Items • G4 Forging • G4 Infiltrator • NR Items • The Lonely Celt Posts: 2009 | Registered: Monday, September 12 2005 07:00 |

No way...someone else from Kirkland? How very cool. Have you tried going back up to L1 and down to L3/L2 by the stairway in the NE corner of L1? I may be forgetting how the Romans get around the levels, and the Celts do it differently, but on L2 you do each half from separate access areas, as I recall. I think you have more to do on L3 in order to finish up and get out of Goagh-Nar. You were sent down to L3 to get the skull, right? Some of L2 is on your way out, not on your way in. If I am murking this up, someone will further clarify. It's been a while since I was there as Romans. -S- -------------------- A4 Items • A4 Singleton • G4 Items • G4 Forging • G4 Infiltrator • NR Items • The Lonely Celt Posts: 2009 | Registered: Monday, September 12 2005 07:00 |

Then we have no choice but to offer you a continuance. ... Meanwhile, Alex outdoes himself again, and I am greatful my stomach was not wholly filled when viewing his latest off(er)ing. I know I predicted his stick figure army would overwhelm Ice Princess Riibu ultimately. One day we will know if it was so. WARNING: The stick figures are mesmerizing. Don't get sucked into staring at them for hours on end. -S- [ Monday, June 11, 2007 19:22: Message edited by: Synergy ] -------------------- A4 Items • A4 Singleton • G4 Items • G4 Forging • G4 Infiltrator • N:R Items • The Lonely Celt • A5 Items • A5 Map Posts: 2009 | Registered: Monday, September 12 2005 07:00 |

Go here. Hit refresh every second or two. Scary, isn't it? I think it's safe to ssume that the American national debt is never going to be repaid. What is your experience as you ask this question? ... I was operating under the assumption that this poll was complete mental wankery in the usual inscrutable Spalmonater style. Mind you, good mental wankery can be highly amusing fare. I am increasingly of the opinion that we are inclined to assign too much meaning and yet not enough meaning simultaneously to too much. -S- -------------------- A4 Items • A4 Singleton • G4 Items • G4 Forging • G4 Infiltrator • NR Items • The Lonely Celt Posts: 2009 | Registered: Monday, September 12 2005 07:00 |

Crossing the rune is what gets you thrown in jail in this case. I did that alone without opening any of the boxes and got incarcerated for it. Also, there is a bug in the game still in which you can look at Poot's right box down by the runes and decide to "1. Leave," and it will open up anyway and let you take the Blessed Shield without even having "opened" the box. Surely someone else has noticed this. Jeff will probably have it fixed by the patch, so take advantage of this exploit while you can. -S- -------------------- A4 Items • A4 Singleton • G4 Items • G4 Forging • G4 Infiltrator • NR Items • The Lonely Celt Posts: 2009 | Registered: Monday, September 12 2005 07:00 |
