The spiderweb games are very intellectual unlike most games today. The audience who play the spiderweb games are intellectual as well. What makes the games of spiderweb software so special and its audience... well, I already said it, intellectuality. What I am trying to say (and failed big time with above. ^^; ) is that a good plot and a brain-stimulating game play flocks an audience which cares less about fancy graphics and brainless action as is the case for many FPS. Of course many FPS requires brains as well (thinking of CS and Battlefield.) but the need of it is less obvious as a smart lad many times losses to a brain-less chaser with quick reflexes and good mouse control. Blades of Exile requires you to take notice of small details and think through them. Perhaps this behaviour and stimulation has colored itself in the audience? (Winks to Dolphin, Drakey, Alorael, Dolphin, Dolphin and all the other people here who finds all these mind-boggling patterns and details. ^^ ) -------------------- So, as the great Groxy, I have come back to be served by goblins. Finally a well-made poll! :D Let us see about those questions... My most played: Avernum III, as much as I have played I have slayed all monsters and now I run around bored since there are nothing more to do. My favorite game: Ok, let me put it like this. I am going to register Blades of Exile. My most loved: I am not sure if I loved Exile II more than BoE. E2 was my the first game I played. My least played: All non RW-games, Exile, Avernum games. I suppose I should try the Geneforge series as soon as I manage to get my Macintosh connected. My most hated: Realms III! Just too crude! (Realms III was created by Fantasoft, today known as Spiderweb Software. The realms serie was created before Exile I and looks similiar to Exile I, not surprisingly since it was using an older version of the game motor. Thank you all for your support. For this sad occasion I have decided to let my emotions out in the way I am best at: write. I shall move on as best as I could without forgetting her. There's one thing though that is very painful in this matter: One of her last word was, "I don't want to get you or me into trouble." (She said that when I told her about how I had gotten myself a sleeping disorder for her sake.) Irony in the wrong moment can be very painful... There's only thing I have to ask. In what way has I changed? She was indeed a girlfriend over the internet. On internet or in real life does not matter... as long as you have a webcam, microphone and a sensitive mind. I fell in love in the best of her, and now she is but a memory. I do not need a pair of rings to fuse myself with my keyboard, I already am.
