No kiddin'. I allready knew I was Agnostic (even though I can't fully accept their definition of Agnosticism)

54% Satanism is kinda funny, even if not far too farfetched. I hope people know the difference from Satanism and Devil-worshipping, however.

Edit: Cut and paste my butt.

You find more powerful items in the loyalist prison than in the monestary caves, though.

I'd say this before an admin gets a chance; Please don't "revive" a dead topic. Rather, create a new one.

Noone said that the new techniques were bad. They are indeed superior to the old - but that that noes change the fact that Shaping yourself is obviously a poor idea.

Actually, Jeff let a member of the Awakened from GF2 join the rebel and be happy with that position.

That Awakened actually makes his apperance in G1. He is not alligned back then, though, but allready ancient. Would not surprise me if he shows up in G4 aswell.

If you comprimise your sanity you risk endangering others more than hurting the rebels. A true Shaper would find a wayw ithotu canisters. If not, he is no true Shaper.

"I built time machines" in General

It's possible that he is in eed building timemachines..But why sell them? He was obviously careful about running into his "alter-self", but if he keep selling them online than more and more people will wreak havoc in the time-space continium, which will sooner or later create some kind of major paradox.

You really expect someone who builds time-machines for a living to be more careful.

Two parts quantum physics to one part gravity. Mix well, then add one whole egg (unbroken). Gently place it a gallon jug (plastic or glass only please) and you've done it. No need to cook it, it's ready to serve.

Remember to half-bake it.

Contra, I'm afraid you're confused about how gravity works, if you think that moving fast through a gravitational field will pull you apart. But you are basically right that there is a great problem with friction in space travel near the speed of light. Even interstellar space is not quite empty; there is something like one hydrogen atom per cubic meter out there, and molecules or even bigger particles, up to dust grains, are scattered more thinly. Utterly negligble at low speeds, these tiny particles hit much harder if you're trying to plow through them near the speed of light. I don't have much feeling for how big a problem this really is, but I'm sure it'll be a significant factor in starship engineering.

It is very possible that I am. I am no scentist afterall (I study Philosophy), and the point you brought up about the small particles in space was a very valid one. I was aware of them being there, I just forgot to think about them and their impact on high-velocity travel.

But I KNOW for a fact that some guy posted a long theory on lightspeed and why matter can't enter it. I think Einstein spoke of it, once. Wish I could find out where I got that from.

Untrue. There is always the pull of gravitation, and that pull would tear you appart.

I never said that it would not be possibly to use a worm-hole to move mass through a large space in a short time, but actuall lightspeed would not. Picture yourself running at 300.000 km per second. Your clothes, your shoes, your skin - all gone. It would be blown away by the intense heat/speed caused by that movement.

Edit: And on the comment on Black Holes..Several Universities around the globe are activily trying to create a "Black Hole" or "Dark Matter". Problem is that even if they got their super-conductors and high-tech equipment they still can't provide the immense gravity that is needed to create such a thing.

For an easier gameplay, focus your skillpoints on the area where your character type is Strong. Don't go out on your line to buy up shaping skills if your an Agent, for example.

I transfered my BoA from my old Mac to the new one, and then my old Mac got a good cleaning. Now I just discovered that my save files did not transfer with my program, and my level 40ish party is gone. Can I fix this somehow or must I replay all those scenarios?
