I've now decided to see how much time can pass between my posts (of quality), divide that by the total number of posts, factoring in ambient temperature and pervailing wind direction, mix with two cups of whole wheat flour and one teaspoon of baking powder, form into rectangular loaves and place gently in the garbage.

Wow. Would ya look at that. Sanity is totally gone for minutes at a time now. ;p

Awww. Of course we should beef up protection of society against violent sexual offenders. I especially think that none of them should live within half a mile from parks. If all I gotta do is create a park whereever I live, heck. That would be a fun way to tease them.

So, NO! What an asinine bit of trash that one is.

I may be ancient and cranky, but, but, who are you again?

I think there are older, reputedly Fenwik is wicked old and ef is gracefully aged. And I would hardly consider Jeffy to be active on these boards. For that matter, you seem to have grown some sort of life yourself. What gives?

Like ununtrium (113), Nioca is a newbie.

Described as expected to be a soft, silvery highly reactive metal, I see no issues with awarding Nioca with this designation.

Are they as fun to duel with as sunflower stalks? Dikiyoba used to duel with those.

Funner! Except when I tried to use one as a stabby thing I got daggers in return. I must learn to pick on the dog instead.

Likewise. There is a boost, but I don't think it will stay at this level for the entire month.

Salmon, I'm offended. :( When did I ever stealth-edit your posts?

Three things.
1) How would I know? You can opt not to show that it was edited.
2) I said "if Aran were to," not "that Aran bloody well better not secretly edit my posts again."

Satisfied?

Too bad we killed off most of the Indians.

Just the carcasses. The filets of 30 odd fish made into the freezer, although they seem to have magically disappeared. I think we have a few tuna carcasses, but usually they got processed at sea to minimize the amount of ice needed to store them.
Packing 600 quarts of ice on each trip was tiresome, 300 was much easier on the wallet.

You, Sir, are on notice. A duel at dawn, with corn stalks as our weapons. On Guard!
Every time I try to picture this, it just reverts to "pistols at dawn". And then it quickly switches to "sniper rifles at dusk", once reality sets back in.

As Piers Anthony would complain, things can actually be mundane at times. My garden this year produced corn stalks that were, on average, 8 feet high. I had ground up and buried many salmon carcasses in the corn patch as an experiment. (Indians do know how to grow corn) We used seed harvested from last year, and grew two twenty foot rows. It is still drying, so I have no idea how much popcorn we will get, but I remember last year we got only half a pint of corn. This year looks like several quarts.

So, the point. I have long corn stalks. Always pick a weapon in which you have the advantage. While my sniper rifle is close at hand, Alo has more experience. So corn stalks. Also, Alo and I both realize that stopping the spammage is Quixotic, at best. ;)
