The No-Spell Warrior

Chapter 1:
It was relatively easy, and I was even able to kill the drayk when I first got to it. I could kill most things in one hit, except for the higher level enemies like Battle Alphas. I used Greenfang through most of this Chapter, until Shaila took him. Overall, ths Chapter was simple.

Chapter 2: Part 1
The first half of this Chapter has been easy. I mowed down Sandros Mine easily, only the Parasitic Shade was a problem, and I beat it to. The Circle of the Drayk was easy as ever, with the Drayk and Serviles causing no problem. I have continued through as a Rebel. I equip myself with Intellect items whenever I upgrade my Vlish, and then re-equip my fighting gear. I have picked up Khur, and as I head towards Moseh, already have my Gloves of Savagery. I have over 200 health already, and have 16 QA 1nd 11 Stength and Parry. This run through has been much easier than my first runthrough, on Torment, with a Warrior.

Ah, this should be fun. I've already started a character following the exact same principles.

Would somebody mind posting the creation images? I don't get enough time to look at them when loading, and don't know how to look at them for long enough.

The Drakons would fight until the end, rather accept Trakovitism. The drayks would live as they did on Sucia Island. Battle Alphas have some intelligence, and would evolve normally and become smarter. Clawbugs would be a pests much like the Chitraches in Avernum, and Fyoras would do much the same thing. Gazers and Eyebeasts would live like the drayks, spread out over the land. They would be killed as soon as they tried to control people, but they would last for awhile. Serviles would become like normal people, and while some human-haters and and servile-haters would remain, soon the two people would mix. Ornks and living items would be much the same as before. The world would be much less dangerous, and would not be out of control.

Though I have never met one that does, I would be suprised if thahds didn't reproduce. They are very similar to both Battle Alphas and Serviles, and they reproduce.

It is possible to avoid killing humans.
Unless Monarch no longer counts as a human it is impossible. Although it is questionable that Monarch is a human.

Playing as a Servile alters certain dialogs, and you can still join the Shapers. In Dillame, the only Shaper City, the people there don't pay attention to you, and also, the Shapers seem to have created smarter Serviles for harder tasks. When you talk to Crowley, while leaving the first Shaper Camp, he states that with war the Shapers have reconsidered some of their policies. Basically, with need of a spy, the Shapers are trying to bring you to their side whether you are a servile or not.

I don't think its possible anymore. You are forrced to kill monarch, and I don't think his creations would cut it. For the endgame it is relatively easy, you just let theothers fight for you.

They probably think you were assigned to control these creations. There are not very many Shapers, so they assign creations to fairly trustworthy outsiders.

Geneforge or Avernum Series? in General

1. I like the Geneforge Series the best. I don't like the "confinement" in Avernum 4, where you have to follow a set story line. I haven't played Avernum 1-3, the Exile Trilogy or Nethergate, but I have gotten the impression that they are also confined to one path, except for Nethergate. I plan to play Nethergate's second version, but didn't play the first version because I found the eating aspect very annoying. I stopped playing Avernum because, from the demo, I didn't think it would be worth it to buy. I didn't play Exile because it had the same story as Avernum.

2. I personally think that the Geneforge Series has the brightest future. The plot is different from anything I have ever played or read. People get tired of the same, "kill the bad and save your country" plotlines, and with the choice yours, as to who you join, the plotline is stronger than the average story(excluding Geneforge 3.

3. I've only been playing since Geneforge 2. I hadn't heard of Spiderweb Software before, but when I played the Geneforge 2 demo, I got hooked.

4. I play on a Mac, which is by far the better of the two choices for preformance.

-x% to hit chance in Geneforge 4: Rebellion

I could be wrong, but I think it reduces your hit chance. Logically, if you are wearing heavy armour, it would be harder to hit your enemies.

Also, he could have made a boat. All he had to do was command his serviles to make a boat.

I think they just knew him by a different name..... Trakov or something. Drewry told his "story" to the PC if you smashed the canister he told you to.

Almost nothing. Considering his power, he probably hid himself somehow. He probably knew how to create a Water Drayk, or whatever its called. Earlier he had enouh power to hold his own agaainst the Sholai, but could not have fought off the Shapers. When they came, he must have fled to the mainland, searcing for a new place to build his empire. He was skilled enough to hide from the Shapers using any canisters he could find. Eventually, the Rebellion came and with all the fighting managed to build his empire. By then he would have lost his memory and become the Shaper Monarch we know today.

My favourite movie would be Piratess of the Caribbean 2. I haven't seen many movies this year, but I liked it.

I don't suggest changing Monarch. He was simple on Torment for my servile. I found the final battle very easy though, even on Torment. That should be harder.

The slowing is bareable with 10 AP when not hasted, 9 Blessing Magic and 9 Spellcraft when hasted. Charm and Mass Madness divert the attacks and are real life savers whe fighting Ur-Drakons. Magic seems to have grown even more powerful than in G3.
