Well, in the article I posted it said that he drove for 4 hours south and found it comfortable and easy to move in. Also, the suit has a built in straw with a supply of water.

quote:
I'd be interested to know how you're arriving at your cost estimate, there.
quote:
The whole suit comes in at 18 kilograms. It covers everything but the fingertips and the major joints, and could be mass-produced for about $2,000, Hurtubise says.
It said that in the article I posted.

Are you saying that the people that live in the popuated areas of Canada aren't Canadian? That's definitely not true.

Actally, a lot of the people that don't live in Southern Ontario and B.C. don't call themselves Canadian. They call themselves Canadien.

They're at war, they have to adapt and fast. Also, they hone their minds so they can learn more easily, which would help with the new creations. Also, I don't see how you can end Geneforge now. All of the endings lead to a war, except the Shaper one, and that would be to boring.

It might be a Trako vs. Drakons and Shapers War, although I'm not sure that the Trakos would stand a chance. Currently that's the best idea I can think of for a plot that's not Shapers vs. Drakons.

What about creations? With a war going for this long the two shaping sides will end up creating a couple of new creation types per year, if the stalemate continues. Although I'm not sure how Jeff would come up with any more creations, I was suprised enough he could come up with the Kyshaak, Wingbolt and War Trall.

Recently a Canadian inventor from Hamilton announced that he has made a suit of armour that is nearly indestructible. He also said that he planned to suppy troops in Afganistan with them, and that they can be mass produced for only 2 000 $. But how can this be possible? It's light, it's nearly indestructable and it's really cheap. How can something this far beyond current technology actually exist? This is a huge jump in technology if it is real, but what if it's not? What if this guy has created huge scam to get lots of money, and possibly sabotage the mission in Afganistan. What do you think?

But then the Shapers stop being Shapers. Well, technichally they are still Shapers, but the whole Principle of being a Shaper is lost. They act exactly like the Drakons.

You could easily make one small hole and slip through. Stealth is the answer to the army. It shouldn't be that hard should it?

It has been awhile since Geneforge 4 came out for Mac, and it's about time to start pondering Geneforge 5.

First off, which ending do you think will be chosen? I doubt that either of the Rebel endings will be chosen, since they seem to just kill off the Shapers. However, both the Trako and Shaper endings would fit well with a continuing storyline(which I hope there wile be), with the Trako endings being a continuation of the war, and the Shaper ending sending it back to being a story of hidden rebellions.

There is a possibility of the Rebel ending however, the drayks and serviles both seem to hate the drakons, which does not bode well for them. But I still don't really see the Rebel ending being chosen.

I hope to see Khryk return once again..... I liked his presence in Geneforge 4. I also hope to see Agent Miranda and General Crowley again. They were both interesting characters and added a bit of a teast to the Shaper side.

I also hope we get to see the entire continent, instead of just the eastern portion. After clearing out Western Morass I was dissapointed to see that you couldn't get to the west with only a wooden wall stopping you.

What do you expect and want to see?

Personally, I say Steven Harper is an idiot. No offense meant, but until George Bush gets kicked out, increasing our relationship with the U.S. is not good, because then we'll be doing the same thing he is. Also, my friend, who was a die-hard Harper fan, but now greatly dislikes him.

The Warrior...... Utterly Useless? in Geneforge 4: Rebellion

I find it fun....., but it's no longer unique.I wish it was, but with the inclusion of the servile it no longer is.

quote:
Slartucker. Or Slarty.
Thanks, I couldn't remember the spelling at the time.

quote:
You don't have to play as a lowly servile, duh.
quote:
He looks more imposing than a little rebel servile.
So basically the only reasons so far are:
- if you are like ET and hate serviles.
- because the graphic looks cooler.

If the Warrior had some kind of strength bonus, or some other bonus, it would be unique, but without it, it's like a lesser Servile.

Before Facepalming Hecatonchire's (can't remember how to spell his/her name) challenge, the Warrior wasn't quite the worst, although pretty close. Now however, the Shocktrooper is more powerful with her many creations than the Warrior with his fighting ability. The Shocktrooper has beaten the Warrior now, and has become the Lifecrafter that doesn't blow away in a breeze. Also, now Thuryl has discovered that the Servile is better at the pure Melee, no Magic that used to be the only way the Warrior unique.

Is the Warrior really any use anymore? All of the Warrior's playing styles can now be played just as easily, or easier, as an other class. Is there any reason to pick the Warrior other than the graphic anymore?

This poll is pretty much only for Americans or Canadians.

I was wondering what you guys think the course our relationship is taking, and the course it will take. I am Canadian, and I think that currently our relationship is worsening, mostly thaks to George Bush. Currently, many ignorant Canadians think all Americans are like George Bush and tend to think badly of Amercans. I don't think that way, and only think that George Bush is an idiot, not the rest of Americans. Our government knows that most people dislike Bush and therefore does not often follow suit with the Americans.

What do YOU think?

Plat on Torment if you want more of a challenge.

As far as I know the western lands are impossible to get to in this game. The shapershave blocked it off by land, and by sea you would need an invasion, which you do not have.

Has Jeff neglected the Eyebeasts/Gazers in Geneforge Series
Infiltrator
Member # 5754

First off, the number of Gazers, and Eyebeasts, don't come close to the amount of Drakons there are. While the most powerful Eyebeasts can control hundreds of enemies, these enemies are mostly Drayks, or something weaker, which the Drakons have no problem dealing with. There are some Rots, which are as strong, if not stronger, than Drakons, the sheer number of Drakons would dominate the Eyebeast.

Also, these stronger Eyebeasts are very solitary. Occasionally, some Eyebeasts, like the one in the Cells of Benerii-Uss, will have some Gazer followers, and will be a problem to the Drakons, but without unity, they won't be able to expell the Drakons from their supremecy.

Later on, once the Gazers figure out how to work together, they will be able to become equals, or more, to the Drakons.
