Does anyone have any idea whether Jeff will both making a Nethergate: Ressurection board? It seems more likely that he'll just clump it with Nethergate (same basic plot... very little activity there now...). If so, Nethergate might actually be needing new mods in the near future.

I told my principal to beware the Ides of March a couple of days back. Don't know if that was wise or not, particularly as I am not assured of being about to back it up...

Excellent, and quite accurate. Except for the attention bit. Call it an experiment. Or don't.

That would be because Aran shut them off. There was some mourning, some celebration, and a few tears. In the end, everyone came out of the experience enriched, and ready to take on new challenges.

What a discovery! Wait... *checks Wikipedia* never mind.

In such a manner did I discover that 22/7 was not pi. I did this by taking my 6th grade math teacher literally, and trying to calculate pi from that fraction. When a pattern showed up... Needless to say, I was disappointed. A fraction would certainly be simpler, but given that pi is irrational... obviously not. Very sad.

While your in the mood, I volunteer myself for critism. I enjoy honesty, even when brutal. Although, I may not have even made enough of an impression here for a succesful attack. A challenge, then. Have at it.

The song playing when I meet the love of my life:
Sympathy for the Devil (The Rolling Stones)
Bad Sign.

Right now, I feel:
Kodachrome (Paul Simon).
After all the crap I learned in High School...

What makes me happy is:
Transcendance (Santana).
I like it. I feel like... Thoreau.

My love of life was inspired by the song:
Brain Damage (Pink Floyd).
Bad, Bad sign.

My message to the world has always been:
I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide (ZZ Top).
Err...

Next time I'm in front of a crowd, I'll say:
Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini #20(Rachmoninoff)
How I will manage to SAY that...

My friends see me as:
Thick as a Brick (Jethro Tull).
This quiz seems determined to insult me.

When I'm drunk I say:
Love Sleeps.
Okay...

My alter-ego is:
Joe the Singing Janitor (Junior Brown).
How did it even manage a proper noun?

My deepest secret is:
Another Brick in the Wall (Pink Floyd).
Perhaps there is something hidden behind it.

My day will be like:
Scarborough Fair (Simon & Garfunkel).
Well, that's not so bad.

When I'm in the shower, I sing:
Brandenburg Concherto No. 3 (J.S. Bach)
Just as hard to do as Rhap. on a theme of Paganini.

My favorite thing to do is:
Have a Cigar (Pink Floyd).
That worked out well.

My parents are like the song:
A Most Peculiar Man (Paul Simon).
Perhaps my father but... eww.

My ultimate song for dancing is:
Dueling Banjos.
So very true.

At my wedding they'll play:
Symphony #7 (Beethoven).
Seems fine...

The story of my life is:
The Streets of Philidelphia (Bruce Springsteen)

My innermost desire is:
I Wish (Stevie Wonder).
That seems rather redundant.

To cheer myself up I sing:
Couldn't Stand the Weather (Stevie Ray Vaughn)

At my funeral they'll play:
Eleanor Rigby (The Beatles).
Way to end on a depressing note.

I believe you expressed high regard for this picture. I will once again gift it as my expression of good brithday will. Perhaps it will become tradition. I imagine the overwhelming cuteness would take some time to get old.

If only the creator of something that does damage is at fault, then it stands to reason that creationists would remove themselves from all moral responsibility.
This is similar to the "guns don't kill people... sentiment, except perhaps more direct (in that the creator is also the one using the implement).
In terms of human responsibility, you could bring up the concept of free will, but if you look around at most humans (or at least Americans), you may began to wonder if we truly possess such a thing.
So even if the bots are not evil in and of themselves, they are imbued with the spirit of evil and sucessfully satisfy the broader category in question.

You forget Apple. Obviously, although they aren't involved in the Internet war, those folks are doing quite well. So Microsoft will be doing the shooting shortly before the effects of Apple administered e-cynide takes its course.

Although I believe that was the standard of the Libertarian Party for a while, I still rather like the play on words. It is unfortunate, however, that it hinges on a cooincidence in Latin vs. Greek roots (ie con meaning against or con meaning with). All the same, quite clever...

Edit: Please refer below for the actual reason that this pun takes place. It was my assumption that seperate languages caused the confusion, though I had encountered the complete Latin roots of both before now. Perhaps if my school actually offered Latin... Until then, I will refrain from making any commentary regarding ancient languages.

Wow i have been accused of much, but not that.[/quote]I didn't accuse you of being the side account, I just noted that your comment made it seem as though IFM was a side account of yours. Obviously, the personalities are quite different, and it is obvious that, although perhaps you could pretend to be someone like Muffin, they would have great difficultly pursuing the reverse.

Edit: I hate untidy tags.

As far as I know, the only other prominent (a term I here use loosely) forum member in Colorado is Infernal Flamming Muffin. Nothing against him, but I'm not willing to drive 3 hours down to the Denver area for less than half a dozen Spiderweb members. So, unless there's a Rocky Mountain meetup anytime soon...

Aran's locks always invested me with a sense of peace and serenity, as if their end was part of a natural cycle... Although, that's probably primarily a result of the sunset picture that accompanies it.

Edit: Changed "bans" to "locks". An odd typo (perhaps a Freudian Slip, but I can't think where it would come from), really.
