Wait, what are we talking about?

That totally outdid my puny little post on the subject in Shadow Vale. I weep at my inadiquacy.

What we need is a good socialist presidential candidate. I'll be old enough to vote in the next election, so I can dilude myself into believing that such a person could be elected. Americans, apparently, aren't the biggest fans of National Health Care and good schools.

I call upon the spectre of Richard White to appear in the forums moments before the end. The games have become the stuff of legends, but so has the man. I have never played past any of the demos, and yet his existance (or lack of it) has effected my greatly.

Richard White is a myth, a creation of the cultists, used as a figurehead for their sinister plans. The closing of this forum is simply another move in their plan for world domination. Here, we could keep tabs on the more open members, and attempt to sift through their coded messages for truth. Now, it is gone. They have all but won.

Not much seems to be missing there, save for some word processors. I have both Adobe InDesign and Quark Xpress, though I lean toward the latter.

Edit: I tend to avoid most Office Suites in favor of Adobe CS supplimented my a variety of lesser known applications.

They are, unless you read Bradbury. I must admit that I always imagined Upon Mars as a Bradbury Martian, as well.

The muffin imposter had better not be Steven again. The real Actaeon would like to note that he can not be accused of calling attention to IFM in a manner that would result in his being copied, but rather to myself. Since my tendencies are less obviously copy inducing, I think I'll be all right.

I think the private sphere might actually have a shot. So... I'm backing no nation. But I'll think about which corporations are the most likely.

That site is all seeing entity that IS Aran (or at least part. Obviously, Imban gets a share). It sees all. It knows all. It watches you when you're asleep. It makes Google look like a nosy neighbor compared with the CIA with full PATRIOT Act privileges.

Edit: I forgot to put on my tinfoil hat.

Been there for a while... used to say "This is for Ephesos, if he ever finds it". Not sure what that meant, but I assumed there had been some discussion here regrading Facebook at one point.

I've been reading Vonnegut. Had "God Bless You, Dr. Kevorkian" checked out when he died. Don't know what I'll do once I run out of Vonnegut and Bradbury. Any suggestions in that vein?

I hardly think Steven (Mr. Bojangles) can be compared with Ed. The former is a misguided friend of mine who decided to make an account here after playing a small part of G4, got annoyed with IFM, and caused a brief drama and scarred Iffy for life. The latter is... Ed.

Edit: For the purposes of remaining on topic, I recently created an account at Kingdom of Loathing. I may join the Spiderweb community there, once I've become used to the mechanics and have a passable charecter.

I have always had a Mac at home, and have become quite used to the OS. Even after a great deal of exposure to Windows, as is required by society in the current era, I still very much prefer OS X. I did run Linux on a laptop for a while, however, and enjoyed it. I might have become a convert if the laptop had to been an ancient device that simply died one day.

Oh, and my current desktop . Rather boring by the previous standards.
If I knew where Aran got his pictures (like the one on his desktop wallpaper and the new one he uses to close topics), I would likely have a more interesting background.

Did you not see "Tombstone"? Not the best movie ever, but Doc Holiday was great.

I have played D&D. I have seen people consumed by it, so that it ate their life. I had no life to begin with, so I could go on to other economically and socially lacking activities after a session without feeling like it was my only true calling.

Hasn't it occured to anyone that Aran may be using a hazel-eyed pseudoclone to lure us into a false sense of security? Or that he might just have doctored the picture? Photoshop detected a colour cast. So, without further adeau: the real photograph.

My eyes! They bleed! Such pain and watering never known before that photograph!

Edit: Needed to clarify that it was Aran's fault, and that my eyes don't typically bleed for no reason.

LOST in General

I watch lost periodically, when bored. The key is to crack the formula the producers use to add something that moves ahead with the overall plot, so you don't have to deal with the fluff. Usually, its not worth even that much effort.
Better to stick with House and Bones.

Edit: Spelling. I'm sure I didn't fix everything. Not that what I did fix was major. I just felt compelled.
