I would think that the madness and powerlust caused by the use of the geneforge would make the overpowered one abandon all his ideals about creation equality. Posts: 227 | Registered: Thursday, January 24 2002 08:00 |

Shaper. The Agent may be more powerful but the Shaper is the most fun to play. The Shaper is unique, there are very few rpgs out there with a character like the shaper but there guardian and agent type characters are common in most rpgs. Plus Shapers have the most replayability out of the three classes. Posts: 227 | Registered: Thursday, January 24 2002 08:00 |

All the creations originated either directly or indirectly from the Shapers and all their Shaping knowledge are from the Shapers so they could have inadvertently passed the built in genetic weakness into all their creations if it's hidden within a gene that they all needs like the gene for intelligence. I think the Shapers have some sort of secret weapon like a doomsday device that can wipe out all the creations, maybe a secret genetic weakness that they've programmed into all creations. Once they've wiped out all the creations, they start from scratch. Posts: 227 | Registered: Thursday, January 24 2002 08:00 |

-Dual wielding. -Two handed weapons like halberds and maybe a thorn bazooka. -A new magic craft skill, which lets you build different types of golems. A skill that should be availible to all three characters and easier to acquire than shaping but golems should be expensive to build, costing gold and resources, they would be unable to gain levels but you can upgrade them by investing more resources and they can't heal on their own unless they have been upgraded with that function but can be repaired with living tools. -Shaper/guardian/agent only items. -Pack mules. -An apprentice of your own. -New Agent graphics. -Changes in your appearance based on your actions, for example you should get an insignia on your clothes based on the faction you join and you begin to glow if you use lots of canisters. Why does Geneforge, all three of them, cause my CPU temperature to shoot up? I have a PC and my CPU temperature goes up more with Geneforge than with games like LotR: Battle For Middle Earth and Half Life 2. Posts: 227 | Registered: Thursday, January 24 2002 08:00 |

Doesn't that augmented dryak remain with you as long as you don't take it back to the Taker lab? If so then that would be the most powerful creature that joins you. [ Friday, June 03, 2005 07:31: Message edited by: vicheron ] Posts: 227 | Registered: Thursday, January 24 2002 08:00 |

I'm think that it's very hard or even impossible to join the Loyalists after you've joined other factions. Posts: 227 | Registered: Thursday, January 24 2002 08:00 |

Agent. Shapers have way too few hp, I know they don't get hit often but there are areas that do persistant damage to your character and those places are a total pain the ass for Shapers. Posts: 227 | Registered: Thursday, January 24 2002 08:00 |

I find it is best to use only one type of creation, either fire or magic, since they both have ranged and melee units. Then you can put the points you saved into other skills like healing craft, battle magic, leadership, and mechanics. Posts: 227 | Registered: Thursday, January 24 2002 08:00 |

Unless A4 takes place a long time after A3 I don't think that it would involve the Vahnatai or Dragons wreaking vengeance upon the Empire since both of them have said that they’re patient and that their vengeance would be slow and take place over many generations. I think that A4 won't have just one main plot, it'll have a lot of things going on at once. With the Avernites returning to the surface it seems like a perfect time for the demons to try to claw their way back into the world. The Sliths would be torn between trying to return to their homeland deep beneath the earth or making a new home on the surface. Empire hardliners plotting against Prazac. Maybe a powerful necromantic cult will rise in Valorim because of all the people who got killed by the plagues. Posts: 227 | Registered: Thursday, January 24 2002 08:00 |
