I found that thread, but many of the clips didn't work. I'd like to hear your voice if you decide to post it.

I'd consider posting, but I don't have even the slightest accent :P

Ash, you sound Aussie to me, and I've never heard an American sound like that :)

t Overwhelming, Dr Ido's chin is too different from Aran's for there to be any resemblance, and his eyebrows, too.

I love your accents, Ash and Thuryl :)

Thuryl, you sound a little different than I might have thought (due to the younger pic, maybe), but you don't really sound British to me.

*giggle* It's a towel under my rat's cage so they don't destroy the dresser. I had to take the picture myself, so stuff ended up in the background.

I tend to pronounce it "ther-l" with little to no "y" sound, but I'm also uncertain.

losing interest? in Geneforge Series

People were asking more questions before because the FAQ/Walkthrough wasn't up yet, and hopefully people do a search to find what they need.

Discussion has slowed down a bit, but that doesn't surprise me.

Try using creations to block the patrolling guards from going back there, and move in combat mode so the remaining guard doesn't see you. I do it in two trips, one to get the Drayk canister (E), and a second to get the Claymore (W)

Doesn't food just heal you a little (very little)? I carried one piece of bread because I wasn't sure if I needed it or not, but I never had any problems when I didn't carry any food at all.

How many times have you played GF3 in Geneforge Series
Shaper

Always on torment:
1. Rebel - Agent
2. Loyalist - Shaper
3. Rebel, but used all opportunities to gain more power - Agent
4. Loyalist - Guardian, it was the first time I've played through a GF game as a Guardian.
5. I was testing a cheat script that changed various things in different places, so I had to play all the way through to make sure I didn't miss anything.

I've played a couple times using the challenges people have posted, but I didn't play all the way through.

I wouldn't leave because Aran, Alec, and TM are gone. There are other people here that I look forward to talking to, but my post rate has gone down…

I also enjoy the photo threads, and though reading what one writes gives more insight into them, I still like seeing their face.

It's also interesting to see how similar or different people are from the way I would have thought them to be based on their personalities.

Getting bored...help! in Geneforge Series
Shaper

Jeff could have changed GF3's plot enough to make it interesting. New creations would have been a good start, or maybe elaborating on the Sholai (or playing as one).

He didn't have to use Drakons again; in GF1 the Sholai discovered the power of the Geneforge, and some of them survived and left the island. I would have much rather battled the Sholai than Drakons.

I didn't like either faction, and it was an identical Taker vs. Shaper plot. I got bored half way through Dhonal's Island because I realized there was no big surprise coming; the best thing about the end of GF3 was seeing the snow.

The void and nebula are awesome!

The pillars and tile go very well with the grass and trees. The stone bridge looks good too, but I liked the wooden bridge a bit more. The floating rocks and stars look great, too.

I like the idea of the floating carpet arrival, but I'm not too into it being red.

Thank you for sending the graphics to the Louvre :)
