I'm around -2, -2. The reason is that although I'm actually a liberal person in general, I have strongly SirDavidian views on religious matters which tend to balance out my liberal views to an extent. Were I me and an atheist, I'd be around -6, -6. Anyway... -E- -------------------- Let them eat cake! Polaris Boards: The System is Up. Perennially. Ummm... RoR, it was Sir David who mentioned satanism. Not that that's a surprise... Sir David's attitudes remind me of my parents'. They, too, assume that anyone who belongs to any of the so called 'modern counter-cultures' are satanists. I prefer to think they just have too much time on their hands. -E- -------------------- Let them eat cake! Polaris Boards: The System is Up. Perennially. Thuryl: I'm struggling through The Wasp Factory at this very moment. For those who don't know, there are a whole series of sci-fi books by Iain M Banks, and a whole series of...odd...books by Iain Banks. I think they're the same person, but I can't be sure. Anyway, The Wasp Factory is by the latter, and it's plain sick, but really well written, and I'm one of those people who just can't put down a well-written book, no matter how objectionable the content is. (That was my complaint about Stephen Donaldson.) Anyway, I recommend anyone to read one of the Iain M Banks books. Particularly Use of Weapons. I liked that one. -E- -------------------- Let them eat cake! Polaris Boards: The System is Up. Perennially. Posts: 2314 | Registered: Tuesday, January 15 2002 08:00 |

Sir David, When Darkey says ET, he meant Exile Trilogy. That's the fifth board from the top. Found it? Now click the link. Right, at the top of the page it says 'Moderated by' and after that there's a list of three names. One of those has a significance for this discussion... -E- -------------------- Let them eat cake! And as for why it's undecorated, it's because it costs real money to do so, which is rubbish but true. -E- -------------------- Let them eat cake! Polaris Boards: The System is Up. Perennially. Posts: 2314 | Registered: Tuesday, January 15 2002 08:00 |

Just to clarify: The Polaris Conspiracy wasn't soley about getting annoyed with Desp. It's just that when TM and Scorp got into a fight with ADoS, Polaris leapt to ADoS' defence, and wrongly assumed Desp was behind TM and Scorp (In fact, they took entirely the opposite stance, but that's not relevant). Seeing as it was now kind of out in the open, Logalot started the PNN, which wasn't a conspiracy of any sort. Now there is a Conspiracy again, of a sort, and TGM doesn't know about. Oh, and to the best of my knowledge Logalot's standing for modship wasn't sponsored by Polaris. -E- -------------------- Let them eat cake! Polaris Boards: The System is Up. Perennially. Would "Sir David " work? It would be visually the same, but it might accept it as different. Or "Sir David" (two spaces). -E- -------------------- Let them eat cake! Polaris Boards: The System is Up. Perennially. Posts: 2314 | Registered: Tuesday, January 15 2002 08:00 |

No 'around the ...' topic ever makes sense. Who cares? Exar Kun gets his starfighter and starts shooting people. And yes, that was a very short IC, but I'm too lazy to write a long one, since the next thing that has to happen is the result of the sanctification, and I can't think of anything... -E- -------------------- Let them eat cake! The one drawback of omelettes, of any known size, is that they find it rather hard to get on buses. Instead, I will be stealing my Spiderprise character, Exar Kun... Suddenly, an explosion rocks the bus and a large hole appears in the roof. A strange, futuristic spaceship lowers itself through the hole and out climbs a robed figure, holding a rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle. EK: Hi all! Sorry about the drafts! -E- -------------------- Let them eat cake! Polaris Boards: The System is Up. Perennially. Posts: 2314 | Registered: Tuesday, January 15 2002 08:00 |
