See, I considered that at one point. At the same time, however, there's the possibility that a mage could use that as a shield and cast extra spells with it. (That is to say, Quick Strike gives generic APs, not specifically attacks.) Plus, Riposte almost *never* works. The parry is a possibility, but at that point, your "weapon" is more like a dull, parrying blade- which I actually do like the idea of. (One idea I tossed around was giving a substantial bonus to dodging- say, 20 or 40%- and giving another substantial penalty to melee of 10% to 30%.)

I agree with Thuryl- my biggest challenge with wiping out the chitraches was figuring out where the queen actually *was*.

...you do realize that the notion of a ninja fighting for more than 5-10 seconds is highly absurd, don't you?

Or really- what would a ninja kill someone with who actually knew he was coming? Interesting fact- ninjas don't have swords. Ever. Their "kunais" are basically flattened nails that are roughly as dangerous as a trowel. Shurikens are basically circular shards of scrap metal whose sole purpose is making the enemy say either "woah! that almost hit" or "woah! that almost broke skin". Even ninjas who were told to assassinate someone- which was quite rare- barely had anything more than a shiv on them.

Anyway, the secret passage begins in Fort Draco. If you don't know where they are, just ask the commander. (I'm not sure if you need to have completed the undead mission first, though.) Or alternatively, visit the mad Hedge Wizard east of Ft. Draco and use the trap door under his house and go east.
