If he doesn't add calls, I drop whatever I'm working on and quit designing alltogether. BoE spent 7 years neglected, four of which I endured, and I don't want to see whichever medium I work with hereafter rot either. I can wait for Pyg, if it means suitable coverage and updates which meet the requirements of its designers. Honestly, I'd be thrilled to recieve support from JV for BoA. I'd be totally unsurprised if none was provided. US Conflict Avatars. SMoE forced the mods to lock it by being an utter and complete asshole resulting in being banned for a month, but seeing how it COULD be locked and didn't break the boards, your offense becomes infintely more egregious by comparison. Why are you people responding so long-windedly? It will NEVER happen, and and even if it does, any designer worth his or her marbles will NEVER use it. I haven't passworded a scenario since Unbalanced Accounts, and with good reason. EDIT: And for reference, myself, Khoth, Eldiran, Vogel and Westra are all Mac users: Westra did the cookbook before the PC version, and the rest of us were making scenarios before the PC version. Items can't be done, but monsters can. Have different versions of each monster, record them with four SDFs for each- life, x loc, y loc, health. Not sure why you'd WANT to, but it *is* your prerogative... (Actually, though, that'd be interesting- one side could be friendly characters who help you out or are innocents, and if you kill their counterparts, they die off. I might petition JV for a game reward. It probably won't happen, but it's a decent pipe dream. As it stands, there isn't a reward beyond allowing designers to make more artistically sound and aesthetically pleasing scenarios. Judging will be done as it has been in graphic contests past. People can judge as many or as few categories as they want, submitting a score from 1-10 for all graphics therein, providing that they aren't entrants in the categories they're judging. It has limited use- cast it on a boss and then run. I used it to beat a Shambler at level 1 in Avernum 3. But that's pretty much it. Oh yeah- magic immunity also protects creatures from petrification. I hate to bust your bubble and some-forth, Robin, but you more-or-less didn't do that in BoE, on account of its being flat-out impossible.
