OOC: This is The_Nazgul, I loged in with my "auxiliary account". I hope you don't mind if I put the characters in our party to sleep.

IC:

Cain finished installing the tent while the others ate some of the local snakes, he had already eaten his share and was feeling sluggish, the others were feeling it too.

Cain walked towards the fire were the others were gathered and kicked sand in the extinguishing fire. "We leave early this very morning towards the mountains. I suggest we stop eating and start sleeping."
"But I'm not satisfied!" Filbert mumbled, enthusiastically chewing on his snake meat.
"You can eat later." Cain replied, barely holding his urge to punch him.
"He's right," added Tuulentekija "We have enough supplies for our journey up the mountain, we can hunt for more on our way down."
"Exactly and the sooner we leave this forest the better, I don't like the silence of this place." Cain added as we walked into the tent. Filbert followed somewhat disappointed.

Tuulentekija and Edith stared at each other. "I will stay on guard," said Edith, "I have slept enough already."
"Fine by me," replied Tuulentekija.

Cain sluggishly lifted his body; Tuulentekija and Filbert were still fast asleep. He quietly picked his gear and made his way out of the tent and was received by a cold morning breeze; the sun had not risen yet.

"Cold morning is it not?" Welcomed Edith, who seemed undisturbed by the cold, probably hardened by the years living in the surrounding lands. Cain walked to a nearby stream and washed his face with the cold water, He then turned to Edith.

"You are stronger than I thought Miss Edith. You will handle yourself well in the mountain." Cain equipped his gear. Edith was about to reply when Cain walked towards the tent.
"Wakeup! We leave for the mountain." The shout was welcomed by grumbling from inside the tent.

Cain then walked closer to Edith. "I hope that Filbert kid has you'r strength." He lied. He really hoped the kid died as soon as possible.

Ok, so there is a secret cave across a chasm in Morogs realm. How can I fly over there? I have already gone through all Jeff's scenarios and I am currently doing them again, taking different paths and stuff. I reached this stage once again, however across all other scenarios I didn't find any orb of Thr...whatever it's name was, to fly me over that pit and other areas I have found that require you to fly.

My question is. Is there an item to fly on any of Jeff's scnearios?? Or am I supposed to come back once I do third-party scenarios and get my hand on one of these...

Please do not mention the editor. I only use it for scenario testing purposes.

There is another one in the southeast corner of the popi-pupi(sp?) shroom filled cavern in the ZKR. You have to find some shamblers(sp?) first though.

Khoth...what a disgrace, too much of a bookworm I guess. :D

I remember the good'ol days when I killed my first dragon in Exile 1, now that was a fight! Motrax killed me more than once back then, now dragons are just an inmobile piece of vast HP .

The Simulacrum spell is a mayor spoiler.

Most of that was in my general knowledge, however, writing it up in an article sure helps, especially for newbs. Let me add one all too common mistake.

9) Balance items, shops, spells with the level of the scenario.

If you make a scenario for level’s 10-15 don't make steel blacksmiths available at every corner. In the VotdT most blacksmiths sold leather, bronze and a few iron armour. A good normal sized scenario should have no more than four very powerful items and a handful of other great items in hidden locations, side quests or tough encounters. Balance the spells with the requirements of your level and the scenario. Don't make a wizard teach Arcane Summon (3) if your mage is at level 7. etc. Also, keep track of costs. At times, shops can be rendered useless and mere decorations for your scenario if prices are too high. The ludicrous prices are getting too common and in the end most stuff is never bought because better items are quickly available on the wandering monster outside.

I agree. Matrix III is lame. If there was a form of Computer AI, I believe its only principle, besides self-preservation would be the fanatic search of efficiency and perfection. Make a better and better version of everything. And a world without humans is a better world. A glimpse of this thought came from Agent Smith on Matrix I. The moment the "Virus Smith" is eliminated thanks to the aid of "Virus Human", the machines continue their logical pattern and eliminate Virus Human from earth. Will they feel this was a "dishonourable" action? I don’t think so.

Well, you can see it that way but it can also be seen as a form of affinity for someone...more than affinity...argg...what is the word?...well, it's like a kind way to call someone who you feel is close to you. You know, like if you call you'r mum, "mummy" it is also nice. Something like that anyway.

I need to expand my english vocabulary...

Over here we get the impression that the Chinese are itching(sp?) for an excuse to kick the ass of the Japanese.
BTW, does you'r government have any expansionist ideas in mind? Do you know of any claim they have on other territories? Not that they need any but you know how humans are...

Also, what Pandolfe asked, do you get shot for having a joint????

I say let China grow and prosper even more. Thanks to their non stop construction the price of copper has raised considerably, thus making my country wealthier. However, I have a few questions about China if you don't mind me asking...

How does that "population control" sistem work?

Do you still have any hatred for what the Japanese did to the chinese during WW2?

How does your culture and gov. see the rest of the world. Europe, Africa, North and specialy South America. I am curious as you will probably be the next superpower and it is good to know how you regard us.
