When I get my real computer back (hopefully within the next couple of days), I should be able to help, but right now I'm stuck with OS 10.2.

It could be a compatibility issue. If so, it could be fixed from Spiderweb's side. It could just be server randomness, which can't be fixed by anyone.

I can e-mail you the demos of Exile 2 or 3. Exile 1 doesn't seem to be downloading properly.

These things get hosted elsewhere on the web. I'm going to do a search right now to see if Exile 1 is available somewhere else.

Wait, no. They work. Never mind.

EDIT AGAIN: Wait, the Exile 1 one didn't work. Let me see if I can find one that does.

I tried the PC version and it was downloading just fine, too. Posting a screenshot is a bit too much work, but the links on the SW site work for me.

It's something with your computer.

I just tried right now and downloading E3 worked fine for me, running Safari in Mac 10.2.

EDIT: In other words, it's something about you. Try downloading the other kind of file, or make sure that you're downloading for the right operating system (Mac/Windows), etc.

Another thing you can do with Shapers — haven't tried this in GF3, but it worked well in GF1 and GF2 — is keep the same couple of creations all the way through and just keep boosting their stats. A pair of level 35 fyoras with nearly maxed stats is surprisingly powerful.

The first is well-known. I'd never heard of the second, but that may be because I'm an Avernum player, and it doesn't sound like the sort of thing that Avernum would have.

By the way, "on the first" level is pretty vague. You should've pointed out that you were talking about the final dungeon.

Are you deleted core files or redownloading? Have you registered a copy that has then become un-registered? What is your operating system?

Reg codes aren't supposed to change, and something really funky is going on if yours is changing.

Walls generally have to be remade, too, because in BoE, walls take up one space, while in BoA, they really ought to take up two. So generally one has to redraw all the walls in the towns and outdoors, re-write most of the custom objects script, re-write all of the dialogue, re-write most of the town scripts, and... yeah, at that point, the porter hasn't really done much for you except made a set of towns that are the right size and the right size outdoors.

You probably knew that, no doubt, but you certainly implied that it was a rule applying to Romance languages.
There are two things that we mean when we say Grimm's Law: the thing that Grimm actually came up with, which only applies to Germanic languages; and a broader set of sound correspondences in all Indo-European languages (and the standard sound changes to be derived from those). It's a lot like how Newtonian physics covers a lot more than Newton ever personally wrote about.

There is no other term for the sound changes from proto-Indo-European to Latin or from Latin to the Romance languages as far as I know, so I said Grimm's Law.

Canonically? No, not really. They're tiger-people who are totally immune to magic.

Non-canonically, on the other hand, TM has explored this subject extensively.

No. Even if you use set_state_continue or run_town_script or run_scenario_script to get out of an INIT_STATE, START_STATE, creature script, terrain script, or whatever, BoA still keeps track of where the sequence started, and if it started from anything but a blue rectange, it still dies the moment you use move_to_new_town.

Basicnpc sets flags already using memory cells 1 and 2, but you don't even need it: if you make each character have the same ID as its duplicate, it should erase properly without setting any SDFs.

That is, I think all you have to do is edit the Character IDs to match them, rather than setting any SDFs.
