You'll probably need to recopy VoDT to your scenarios folder. A reinstall of Blades of Avernum could do the trick, or you could reinstall to a different location and copy the folder to the scenarios folder. Up to you. Many weapons will give you a good indication of what's going on- a sword may deal 2-12+1-6 damage per skill level. The skill level is your level in the requisite weapons skill (melee, pole, bow, thrown) and usually strength. So if you want to do 3.5 more damage on average with this weapon, then increase either your strength or melee skill by a point. Once you get some special skills, these numbers will change, but not by that much. There's a hidden room on the east of the map with several pots that catch fire when you step on the pots. It's a puzzle, and I think the way I described it is the easiest way to light them all up (or turn them off, as the case may be). That is how it is supposed to be- you can not replace your own characters like A1,2, and 3 enabled you to do, so you're stuck with premade characters.
