But you see, I'm a completest, I can't leave part of the game unfinished, no if I need a challenge, I'll try a singleton party on torment mode. -------------------- "As our circle of knowledge expands, so does the circumference of darkness surrounding it." --Albert Einstein -------------------- Posts: 536 | Registered: Sunday, September 7 2003 07:00 |

But why wouldn't you do those things? I mean the shades weren't that hard once you got the right strategy, and those controls were extremely obvious. That lich who charms you right before rentar was a much harder fight for me, as was the one against the other crystal soul. Garzahd was also ridiculously easy. -------------------- "As our circle of knowledge expands, so does the circumference of darkness surrounding it." --Albert Einstein -------------------- Posts: 536 | Registered: Sunday, September 7 2003 07:00 |

Speaking of the endgame, did anyone find the final Rentar battle to be ridiculously easy? -------------------- "As our circle of knowledge expands, so does the circumference of darkness surrounding it." --Albert Einstein -------------------- Posts: 536 | Registered: Sunday, September 7 2003 07:00 |

You misspelled 'cello! I am saddened :( . Also I regret the lack of vocals. I am in a collegiate a capella group. If you listen to all the things you can do with a voice it is amazing. -------------------- "As our circle of knowledge expands, so does the circumference of darkness surrounding it." --Albert Einstein -------------------- Posts: 536 | Registered: Sunday, September 7 2003 07:00 |

I never thought about this. I should set my computer to clear all memory in 3 months and have it reset every time I log on. Or something like that. -------------------- "As our circle of knowledge expands, so does the circumference of darkness surrounding it." --Albert Einstein -------------------- Posts: 536 | Registered: Sunday, September 7 2003 07:00 |

I'm working on a small scenario involving the Avernum marble industry. It is going to be a quick scenario. I'm mainly using it to refresh my memory on scripting, so I can move on to more ambitious stuff. -------------------- "As our circle of knowledge expands, so does the circumference of darkness surrounding it." --Albert Einstein -------------------- Posts: 536 | Registered: Sunday, September 7 2003 07:00 |

Personally, I think there are better ways to become intelligent than gene therapy. Things such as growing up in an atmosphere of intellectual curiosity, learning to play a musical instrument, visiting an other country or learning a foreign language. Don't mess with the brain. It's quite good as it is. -------------------- "As our circle of knowledge expands, so does the circumference of darkness surrounding it." --Albert Einstein -------------------- Posts: 536 | Registered: Sunday, September 7 2003 07:00 |

The point is that this can all be done with a patch or update. Additionally the editor is open-source, and new versions such as the 3D editor have been released. A sequel in the traditional sense loses its meaning in situations like this. -------------------- "As our circle of knowledge expands, so does the circumference of darkness surrounding it." --Albert Einstein -------------------- Posts: 536 | Registered: Sunday, September 7 2003 07:00 |

I don't claim it is easy. I only claim it is the right thing to do. Also, I would like to say that it is truly wonderful to actually be able to have intelligent conversation about a topic such as this. To often debates on abortion turn into name calling rants. This is a breath of fresh air to me. -------------------- "As our circle of knowledge expands, so does the circumference of darkness surrounding it." --Albert Einstein -------------------- Posts: 536 | Registered: Sunday, September 7 2003 07:00 |

(1) I would have to be convinced that the psychological damage would be debilitating to such an extent that it would render the mother incapable of living a normal life. Minor psychological trauma, post-partum depression and other problems would be hard for me to justify. But if, hypothetically the pregnancy could cause mental instability to the extent that it induces a long-term catatonic state, I could see the argument. I am not aware of any such cases however. (2) OK, I will find the sources and link to them. -------------------- "As our circle of knowledge expands, so does the circumference of darkness surrounding it." --Albert Einstein -------------------- Posts: 536 | Registered: Sunday, September 7 2003 07:00 |
