The funny thing is that I have these three messengers and I hardly use them anymore. Sometimes it makes a person wonder if there is anyone out there, and then all of a sudden, you get messages galore. Happy day! Someone knows that I exist.

Sherlock Holmes, I even have my messenger programs allotted to certain people. Family uses one, RL friends use another, and folk that I only know online use the other. Didn't plan it like that, it just happened.

Ubiquitous: being or seeming to be everywhere at the same time; omnipresent.

Which means that my "so" was unnecessary, but them's the breaks.

It's not really that brilliant, but a lot of people have it. It is so ubiquitous that I for one was glad that the option to show your AIM id is offered in Spiderweb profiles.

I use three different instant message programs, but then I am weird.

AIM is more fun than chat rooms, in my experience. You put more than two or three people in that kind of situation and the whole thing gets weird. I am, however, a hopeless slave to instant messaging.

Well, of course, someone (something) being attracted to you isn't going to magically cause attraction in you. But I'm not talking about those times.

Well, now I have to fan myself furiously and pretend not to be flattered, Kelandon, though I am. IMAGE(girlz place (4)_files/biggrin.gif)

The hottest thing of all, in my opinion, is showing your interest in someone. There are those who will disdain you if they get the idea that you like them, but I've always thought that a very strange way to be.

I speak only English. Efforts to learn other languages have so far come to naught, though I took five years of languages in high school. Three years of French and two years of Latin.

If the purpose of sex was only for procreation, then only one very specific type of sexual activity would happen. It doesn't. Sex is a way to create a bond, to cement a bond, to release tension, to express emotions, and sometimes just to while away some time between tv shows.

I think they're still looking for this perfect woman. Really you wouldn't actually want a perfect person, though, because after a while, their perfection would get on your nerves. I just want someone who is about as messed up as I am, and no more.

Sherlock Holmes, you could go to the "girlz place" topic...I guess it should be called "what kind of guys do you like?" instead. Hmm, I guess that's not the best solution.

Ah, crap, dareva, think before you post.

Oh, I am indeed very wonderful, but since I hide it under an off-putting, know-it-all exterior, not many other people know it.

The only place I can be a shameless flirt (which seems to be what's called for often in "acting" in life) is the internet, where no one can see me blush.

Now I can say that at least one other person besides me combines cranberry juice with other juices. It's good to know.

Apple juice and grape juice are indeed fine. I rarely drink milk except in cereal, and then only skim. Oh, woe is me when I visit my parents and have to buy a separate carton of milk for myself.

I've observed members of my own sex, and to tell the truth, most of what they do is equally inexplicable to me, as I am apparently not very typical of other women.

"Booty Nomad."

I am intrigued, yet vaguely frightened.

The Bridget Jones sequel, The Edge of Reason , is full of the "wow, guys are weird and I can never figure them out" viewpoint. It's so like my life, except that I have yet to do time in a Thai prison.

This is a lot like me. But I also have been known to joke that the worst thing that could happen is that the askee says yes. After all, I'm prepared for rejection. Acceptance is an eventuality that has not been provided for.
