Hm, I know some unbelievably hot pagans. Should I tell them that by being so, they're violating the rules? Posts: 437 | Registered: Sunday, July 13 2003 07:00 |

Time to consult the pagans again, as I can't remember exactly what the ones I know do for Beltane. Posts: 437 | Registered: Sunday, July 13 2003 07:00 |

The club soda leaves little bubbles suspended in the Jell-O. Purty. Remember, though, some fruits keep the Jell-O from gelling. I've never tried (I hate fruit in Jell-O), but papaya and a few other fruits that I don't recall off the top of my head will keep the Jell-O from setting, through the magic of enzymes. The scary part is that my mom probably knows the non-gelling fruits without checking the Jell-O box. Posts: 437 | Registered: Sunday, July 13 2003 07:00 |

But they have to be posts with content. Not pointless posts, like I'm afraid this one is. Better think fast. Anyway, is there a title after the 7500-post one, or would he stay like that for eternity? I confess to an odd reluctance to type the actual title. It's great being me--a new quirk to discover every day! Posts: 437 | Registered: Sunday, July 13 2003 07:00 |

I am from the U.S., but I have ordered online from Spiderweb using a credit card, and have had no problems (unless you count the lack of more money to buy more games ) Kyna is quite right about unscrupulous shop workers. That's probably a far greater risk to one's credit than internet buying. [ Friday, April 23, 2004 19:23: Message edited by: dareva ] Posts: 437 | Registered: Sunday, July 13 2003 07:00 |

Hurrah for Majordomo's money coming through! As for myself, I just spent an instructive day reading the rentals section of the classifieds. Hurrah for fairly cheap housing, but boo to still not quite having the money for it yet. Posts: 437 | Registered: Sunday, July 13 2003 07:00 |

No tunics under the togas? Granted, they're not pants, but still, it's some sort of undergarment. Posts: 437 | Registered: Sunday, July 13 2003 07:00 |

quote:Do you realize how short the books would be then? I own one Piers Anthony book (it was a gift, shut up) and I estimate that, were it cleared of sexual references, it would be no longer than my nice short DVD/VCR instruction manual. I'm not saying whether this is a good or bad thing. Posts: 437 | Registered: Sunday, July 13 2003 07:00 |

I consider myself very fortunate in that about three-quarters of my university expenses are paid for by grants and work-study, which means I won't have to pay at least that part back. I'm working on getting a "real job" in addition to my classes and work-study this fall, but I don't think it will work. I'll have to drop the work-study in order to do almost any kind of other work, as the hours are a bit stupid for my schedule. I have seniority among the students in my work department, which means I have first pick on hours, but that doesn't mean much with the schedule I'm going to be taking. I'm neither frugal nor extravagant; I'm quite capable of saving my money for something special. I was much worse at spending when I had both more money to spend and more to spend it on. Right now I'm starting up saving again, as I have something very important in mind to use my money for. Posts: 437 | Registered: Sunday, July 13 2003 07:00 |

I feel a similar pain. Though I do get paid a meager little check each month for my services here at school (I answer phones at the switchboard), most of it is absorbed fairly quickly by the demands of bills. Having a Real Job is a sweet dream at this point, even though I know it'll suck out my soul quickly. I won't be a carefree, though poor, college student much longer; I'm due to earn my BS (how appropriate!) this December. I am very nervous. Sometimes when I'm supposed to be studying, I worry about getting a job in my field. Posts: 437 | Registered: Sunday, July 13 2003 07:00 |
