Perhaps if Jeff hosted a direct link to a list/previews of Blades of Avernum scenarios on the home page, he might generate some more interest for BoA. Posts: 1233 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

I wont explain my thought process but I will make clear that when I said "bot" I did not specifically mean a program. I meant general advertising. In hindsight, I'm not sure why I thought this was shameless advertising. I made a stupid and careless mistake. Don't waste any time or effort looking into how it happened... On a more cheerful note, welcome to Spiderweb Software. You can have this, enjoy: Posts: 1233 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

We've been getting forum bots or whatever they're called lately. If you're sincere, then I apologize. Edit: Typo [ Sunday, February 11, 2007 19:10: Message edited by: Enraged Slith ] Posts: 1233 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

It's not the plot that matters, it's how well the story is told. If you keep worrying about making unique plots with upredictable twists rather than making solid and enjoyable stories, you'll end up like M. Night Shyamalan. Posts: 1233 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

Ever wonder what a servile looks like under that hood? Using Geneforge 4's graphics and the latest MS Paint technology, I have recreated what I believe to be an accurate rendition of these shy creatures unmasked. Do not try to hide your jealousy. quote:Please show us where you came up with this information... I'd say that it's not so much the fact that 'IRAN WILL MAKE WMDs AND USE THEM,' as it is the possiblity and risk. If you were a leader in today's world, would you take that risk? Would you allow even the smallest chance that a country, outside of your genearl control, might obtain WMDs? Mind you, this country exists in a region known for religious fanaticism and a hatred of Israel. Do the benefits of nuclear power in Iran outweigh the risks of possible WMDs? Go for it, just avoid the nearly impossible combat encounters (or offer a save point right before them.) Not being able to save every step offers a new element of challenge to games. Posts: 1233 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

Here's something I just made in five minutes. It's a color edit of the fancy wall hanging with some other stuff. I might have some more stuff later. This took even less time: Edit: Do you want that carpet as terrain or flooring? If I recall correctly, the M16 rifle was met with a lot of skepticism before it was improved and widely implemented in warfare. Posts: 1233 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |
