Would it be allowed to remake earlier Avernum games with BoA 'engine'?

When you compare Avernum 1 to BoA, there are some serious improvements.

I doubt it is allowed, but I'm just curious.

I don't think that any kind of background music is good for avernum.. environmental / ambient music would be the only good choice.

Hmm.. your options are poor..

Those music choices.. sure, I like black sabbath and rainbow.. but they don't have ANYTHING to do with Avernum. Just because you (referring to all people) like a specific music, doesn't mean it's fit to a game. (Atmospheric music is different thing than the music you normally listen..)

Not sure if I've heard music of Dio or Megadeth.. (Megadeth is heavy rock.. that I know.. I think :) )

Ps. There should be one choice more to the music: "Spiderweb's own sinfony" :)

So.. how long is it estimated that BoA will be done?

I heard something about september 2003 last year.. but you know how they change :)

Edit: Just noticed.. "end of the year".. but any more accurate dates? Months?

Ahem.. the thread's so long that I didn't have the patience / time to read it all.. but wouldn't it be nice to be able to rise LEVELS in character editor.. then you'd just have to spend the skill points accuired.. a lot easier to start playing harder scenarios :)
