Okay well I already finished the level but in 19 days so I really didn't complete it that well. On the way through I got puzzled on a few things like the Wurm Pit. I killed everything in it and found this idol thingy. It says I am overcome with grief and stuff when I try to leave though. I already found the pool that makes you feel like nothing can hurt you and you aren't afraid but it doesn't help. Are you even supposed to be able to keep the item or is it just.. there. Now for the Morog thing. I'm pretty sure its something I just somehow completely missed but I just can't find it. After beating the game I have come up here again. I got the Melora Opal and killed most everything in the region. I also know the word to get past the undead. But where is her Citadel located. Help please, thanks. -------------------- Legends tell that Avernum, Is a gateway to the underworld, from which the dead never return, Well thats a lie because im here now aren't I. -------------------------------- "Never get into a fight with an idiot. Idol... thingy? Unless you mean the unicorn horn, I don't know what you're talking about. If you do mean the unicorn horn, did you get the quest from the unicorns and the horn talisman? I didn't think it was possible to get it without doing so, but I can't find any other explanation. Morog's citadel is on the big hill north and a little west of where you go to get the Melora Opal. You can only approach from the north, I think. You can't possibly go past it without seeing it. You cannot keep the idol from the wyrm pit. At least I did not find a way out with it. I don't know of which citadel you are talking. Morog's Castle would be in the middle of the undead field, you cannot miss it with the map. ))?? Posts: 1420 | Registered: Wednesday, October 2 2002 07:00 |

To keep the idol, you need to drink from the pool, then walk out the secret door behind the totems in the lower right area of the map. Posts: 5 | Registered: Monday, August 12 2002 07:00 |

Wooo, it works! Thank you Cole. What do I do now with the malachit thing? I suppose it's to corrupt somebody ... BTW, how comes that you are an older member than me and wrote only two posts?? -------------------- Slartucker: * facepalm facepalm facepalm * Dikiyoba: Are you unconscious yet? Okayyyy well in my idiocy I didn't realize the big gap of non mapped area in the middle, I usually stick to the sides when I venture and I was in a rush so I probably didn't have automap up in that section. By Citadel I meant Morogs Castle. While on this subject, why is it that when you go through all those defenses and stuff there is nothing in that one chest that holds her greatest treasures and what-not. Nothing came up before and after I killed her. -------------------- Legends tell that Avernum, Is a gateway to the underworld, from which the dead never return, Well thats a lie because im here now aren't I. -------------------------------- "Never get into a fight with an idiot. If that's the chest I'm thinking of, it has the Scroll of Dragon History in it. Which means that if you already got the scroll, it's empty. This is why you should not choose the scroll as your reward. :P -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

Strange: someone, who is member since two years and seems to be well versed in BoA, posts just on this thread ... ;) Maybe Cole is a never used moniker of an oldby. -------------------- Slartucker: * facepalm facepalm facepalm * Dikiyoba: Are you unconscious yet? I'm curious about the wurm pit idol also. I managed to sneak out with it (pool, back door) but never found a use for it. Anyone know what it's for? -------------------- He's the man Whose name you'd love to touch, But you musn't touuuuuuch... Posts: 19 | Registered: Thursday, May 27 2004 07:00 |

In BOE the Malachite statue is in the Wurm pit, and I beleive that BOE and BOA are similar enough that the Malachite statue is what you are talking about. Anyway, if you keep it until the end of the scenario, you will get a pretty nice prize for it, because some mages or something think its interesting back in Dharmon. Mind you, this what happens in BOE I'm not sure if it has the same outcome in BOA. -------------------- I am the way into the doleful city I am the way into eternal grief, I am the way to a foresaken race. Justice it was that moved my great creator; Divine omnipotence created me, And highest wisdom joined with primal love.
