>_> *looks at Thuryl's new photo* <_< *looks at the Sailor Moon travesty he often uses* Hm ... I was quite certain that the disguised boy with eyeglasses has nothing to do with Thuryl. Now I'm not sure anymore. -------------------- ^ö^ vegetarians are sexy. Posts: 1420 | Registered: Wednesday, October 2 2002 07:00 |
New scenario to beta in Blades of Avernum | |

 I played it. There are nice designs, e.g. the ruined tower of Werdna, but you cannot do anything except to look at it. There is also no plot. To search an amulet in a maze is not a story; respectively: the story has been replaced by a maze and lacks generally of dramatic technique. How TM said: the fights are repetitive and boring. Also the mazes: monotonous, straining. Thus I skipped all the possible levels and went directly to Werdna. BTW, how can you leave the maze after defeating Werdna in the dead end? I had to use the editor. There are some funny surprises though, e.g. the thieves, stealing things from the inventory. But nevertheless ... all the time I thought whether I should continue or not. If somebody likes hack'n'slay games, this scenario might be a challenge, especially since you can - after delivering the amulet - return to the maze and all the random monsters are back again ^_^ Just as well you could play pacman instead. The thrill might be the same. -------------------- Slartucker: * facepalm facepalm facepalm * Dikiyoba: Are you unconscious yet? Posts: 1420 | Registered: Wednesday, October 2 2002 07:00 |

quote::P By spamming with Sailor Moons maybe? to Riibu: yeah, down with the average harmlessness, keep up the rants. I can understand your apprehension completely. It's hard to see how SW boards are turned into mediocrity. But yet I don't see it so hopeless. There still are a lot of interesting people, and even TM came back. You could just pluck up your courage and post before pondering about spam or not spam. Like everybody else ^_^ Salmon, I like the idea of topic statistics. And the most important: Thank you for the unflagging feeding of our vain spammer-souls, Aran @>->-- -------------------- ^ö^ vegetarians are sexy. :) Welcome at Spiderweb, Old Man Reggae! Leave you acrimony at the door, have harmless fun and be careful with Thuryl: He is not to be trifled with. I hope he won't close all your topics. -------------------- ^ö^ I was a cannibal for twenty-five years. For the rest I have been a vegetarian. As long as the Constantinople-disease is so rare, the word would not be banned. Where would you find a lobby for a 1 man per million-disease? ^_^ The "Constantinople!"-shouting midwives have nevertheless my sympathy, especially for capital slums. I only doubt that they ever would cause heart attacks at unconscious babies (not able yet to understand the difference between Constantinople and Istanbul). quote::confused: "...without Alorael, Thuryl..." maybe? :) And yes: ban the cars, not the names.! -------------------- ^ö^ I was a cannibal for twenty-five years.
