It was amusing. :P

Also, I have mixed feelings of our winning song. I'm glad we won, but the way we got the victory, well... I can't quite celebrate. Not that it's bad, as such! but, well, you know. The words aren't that great, that's all.

The dream that I can remember most of didn't actually happen tonight, but this morning. I usually manage to dream once or twice lightly on mornings and they're always the most interesting ones.

Anyway, I can't quite remember how it started, but it was basically eventually this. I'm with some friend's friends in my room, who later leave leaving me alone with my new roommate who seems a bit odd and terribly quiet and shy. We start talking once we realise that we're very alike. Our clothes are the same colors actually, black, light beige and grayish green if I remember correctly. When I move some books in my bookshelf to a proper order she says she's definitely a pizza person. Then she tells (we move to sit on my bed) that the pizza her mother loves to make makes her sleepy and at some point she actually falls off the bed and makes me drag her back up.

Then I realise that the pizza is actually a spell that I've performed before, but it's optional. It doesn't have to be a spell, it can be just an interesting pizza, but I want to make sure. So we go off and perform the spell. I'm not sure who I am at that point, my person changes throughout the dream. Anyway, I don't think I'm with my roommate anymore. The spell produces these frogs and I warn not to touch them because their skin will break like molten cheese. A mistake I apparently did earlier. There's more frogs and we somehow travel elsewhere.

Then the frogs change,I guess. There's dogs and horses, except miniature size. Somehow a friend's friend gets a bird and some other animal and we go back to frogs/animals and she's told that she should make one of her new animals hunt one of the dogs. I hope it doesn't get the one that I like. Hunting ensues, but it's not very spirited.

Around this time I become one of the dogs, except there's no dogs anymore. I quietly slip further away so I don't get caught. I've become a man and I'm sweeping with a friend of mine who's a dwarf. We're prisoners, but we're in open air. Sweeping. There are other prisoners too. We're all wearing these gray clothes and we have these tags to show who we are. Mine drops and I try to stand on it so people wouldn't be able to tell who I am. My friend starts crying because it's very harsh in there (very strong wind) and I look around and damn well hope something would come along and save us, because we've been unjustifiably prisoned.

Then I'm myself again and I'm with someone else who tells me that we've managed to get them free and she hands me these pins. They're symbols of justice and victory. We won after all. There's four. First two girls come (the ones in my room, I think), the friend's friends and I put one pin in place for this blond girl. We try and see if the others are coming yet, and I know that once I've gotten all the pins attached I'm going to hug the dwarf because I love him. Romantically? Not sure. But there would've been hugging.
Except I woke up.

It's a bit strange now that I go over it. Now why this long? I had a minor epiphany, see. The prosecutors, well, they were something akin to shapers from GFs, possibly. That or magicians from Jonathan Stroud's books. And I realised that those orders have much alike. I mean shapers are held in awe and they rule nearly everything, and they can get away with pretty much everything just like that. Same in the books for the magicians. I'm waiting to get my hands on the third book. Damn slow libraries and translators. :\

Also, I played GF3 last night till 3am. That might be partly at fault here too.

All I can remember anymore is that I dreamed I overslept till around 2 and was worried that people were going to be angry at me. I woke up right then and checked the time. Still had ten minutes until the alarm would go off.
There was other stuff that was really interesting, I'm sure of it. I just forgot it already.

Not in Geneforge surely, I only devote my time for General. Really. I never bother to really check what's going on beyond General.

Anyway, it wasn't really a 'everybody dies' ending, since not everyone died. That much is evident with... Well, Thuryl, Dolphin and bunch more fumbling the ruins. They weren't all 'gone' as such either.

Indeed, but that would contradict the way everyone else has been pictured, that is, in a manner which one would expect for them to act as far as stereotypes and gimmicks go. Actually, I'm known as Riibu around here (or should be by now, at least).

Also, I bloody well did not die. Considering I'm usually one with the lurkers would mean I died in the avalanche or possibly skipped sides, and neither of those just would've happened with me. I never would've followed some .. person with a member number some 5000 bigger than mine. The whole idea is ridiculous! I've ranted on somewhat close to that subject before, I'm sure the topic can be found if one so wishes.

Also, I neither would've helped the other Spidwebbers since I don't really feel very highly of them all in all. I would've just ignored them until they figured to leave me alone. Most likely I would've spent my time stalking Khoth and observing the war events happening from a distance.

As it is, I refuse any other possibility other than that I simply was not present.

Damn, now my hands are actually shaking from indignation.
Or possibly sleep deprivation. :\

Emilia is somewhat over one meter tall, has blond hair and blue eyes. She's very social and prefers spending time outside with her friends till it's very late (and even then I daresay she'd prefer if she wasn't made to come home). She also loves to complain in loud voice if she has 'no friends at all!'.

Tarja is 1,67 meters, has dark brown hair (longish) and.. hmm. I suppose her eyes are grayish green, with some faint blue. She really should stand up to people more. She likes Jari Sillanpaa's music, up to the point of calling herself a fan.

Samu is around 1,75 meters tall, has dark hair and also kinda grayish green eyes. He underweighs some, but definitely looks damn skinny. He's got an excellent sense of humour and is probably the only person who can make me laugh without really trying. He knows his way throught computers and games (oldschool games clearly preferred). Is also annoyingly brilliant about educational matters and is pursuing a BBA-degree in a university (please don't ask more, I do not rival him when it comes to pure intellect).

Hanna is around 1,65 meters, has dark hair (although dyes it often), and for the life of me I can't say what color her eyes are. Either brown or blueish.. something. She's very friendly, but has a tendency to lead. As in, in a group of people she usually voices the decision to what to do, although she doesn't command. Most just follow in any case. She studies to become a hairdresser (hence the dyed hair).

Katja is maybe 1,70 meters, has dark slightly curly hair and she's got these blue eyes with bit of yellow(orange/lightbrown) in the middle. Maybe. Or a bit green. She's pretty reserved when it comes to people and doesn't mind shying away from groups of people to wait for a friend come to keep her company. She's interested in mechanics, but isn't currently studying anything. She has a very nice impish smile, although she might not agree on that. Wishes she lived closer to her best friends.

Pauliina is definitely over 1,80 meters, has blond hair and blueish eyes (do they all?). Light blue, I'd say. She's married to Timo. She's more than friendly, and very considerate.

You know, I'm pretty sure I did everything that needed to be done, but I still didn't get the option to get the reinforcements. I ended up modifying the scripts a bit to change some SDFs (well, just one) and managed to get the quest to the end. But I did kill every bad guy anywhere near there, I double checked. I thought it might have been that I'd already chosen some option that closed another one that I would've needed to get. Anyway. I wonder what that SDF was...

Which indeed is a bit ambiguous when taken out of context. Wasn't Khoth's quote something about Frodo hugging Sam and breathing hard?
It was something abgout having Frodo's head on Sam's lap, but I don't remember it exactly.

So, it starts with a quote from the NaNoisms thread from the NaNoWriMo boards. They're these funny things you write when you're half asleep, half in another world and you're just struggling to make your quota for the today. The father and the girl were supposedly knights and the author wrote 'with skill for great villainy'. It was a popular one and amused me also.

I've had some other things in there also, like a non-existant quote from a story of mine (I haven't actually gotten that far into the story yet), an Eddings quote to rival an old one of Khoth's (his was from Tolkien), and probably some other nonsense.

Then links. Homepage's clear enough. I have a blog, which I update rarely (Aran, why'd you get one if you never use it, and is it even you?). Then the Geneforge Annotated Maps site, plus the maps for the second and third. Elfwood gallery which I haven't visited in a long while either. No stories there which you couldn't find from my homepage, but you can leave anonymous comments. Then a friend's forum, which I should actually take off. It's dead as far as I know.

Then some more links. I had that phrase (or very close to) from my early days in here, and the links in haven't changed that much. They are... Hmm. Nuklearpower.com, that is 8-bit theater. I should change that. :\ Then Kingdom of Loathing.
