There's good skill counters over at Runetips, which tell you how many points you need until new level, and how many of *something* you need to mine to get there. Say, from level 50 to 55 you'd need about 166,665 experience more (approx.), and say you're mining iron for training purposes, so you'd have to mine 1862 ores. So I probably should mention that the story itself is nowhere near end? Well, it might be at the middle part about now. There's still so much that needs to be happen. And of course, without notes and outlining at the end of the file, I'm actuall only at 47200 something. -_-;; I didn't need much talk before I convinced myself I wouldn't verify until I'd get to 50,000 with nothing but storty itself. But, you know, I *have* written 50,000 words this month of that story. All the notes and all that was also during this month, so in a way it contributes safely. Still... Also. What're you, nuts? Translating that horrible, monstrous text would probably kill me. Why do you hate me sooooo?? :'( Although, I did come up with some adjective-like words first in English when I couldn't think of a good alternative in Finnish and then abuse my dictionary for a Finnish equivalent. Hence my words 'I messed it up'. The way I was doing it I should've added the line around the letters in two parts. First just for 'avernum' and second for the number. Actually, that logo's pretty simplistic. I could make one much alike and it wouldn't take *that* long. Of course, I'd probably do it in unnecessarily hard way, because I'm not that familiar with the program I use, seeing as that I don't use it that often and have not found need to know every little trick it has to offer. I think I'd first start by either finding a suitable background or just whip up one on my own. Then I'd use the word tool creating the actual logo as a selection. Then I'd copy the logo selection with the background, go back to scratch and paste the logo onto white. Then I'd select some sides of the letters and fill them with opacity set at an appropriate level with white and then other sides with black, or perhaps dark gray, and so creating that nifty, kind of realistic effect of the letters looking ... not flat. :\ And then it'd pretty much be done. Of course, it wouldn't look much better than that, so I don't see what the point would be for me. I'd rather try and make a better one, of course. Except I won't. Because I'm busy. And don't care. How you getting on? I'm at 27306 words currently, and it's almost 3am. I don't think I'll do an allnighter. :\ I'll probably keep on writing till I get halfway, and if I manage to push it, some more. Oh, indeed, the armor looked very nice. I hadn't looked at that page about treasure trails before, and I though the only way to get trimmed armor was through castle wars, which didn't really appeal to me. I'm into that kind of games, and I doubt I'd be particularly good at it anyway. But the treasure trail seems like fun, I'll probably look into it soon. I need to catch up on some NaNo first though. I'm getting near 21k now, actually. Have to desperately, because I'm about 10k short on word count. Tomorrow I should have.. 30006 words. I keep a list. Whew! :\ -------------------- "I'm not crazy!"
