River fishing. A good place for training fishing is near Lumbridge, because there's a river fishing spot and a chicken farm, and trees so you can cook them too. But you need.. Equinox. There were at least 6 different versions of the same game, when I last saw them. I preferred to play the 5th. It was a simple hack'n'slash game, lots of mindnumbing clicking, no pictures. I'm one of the people here who change their monikers, though I do it less/more often than others. They usually portray something I've felt like I wanted to somehow express.. um, feelings and stuff. Except the feelings only last about a day or so. I try to come up with names I don't mind using longer. But I'm known (I should be known! Shame on you if you don't! :P ) as Riibu around here, and pretty much anywhere else I'm registered. Except Xanga. I think Riibu was taken. Damn thieves. I made it up when I first got a personal computer and found out my first internet game. It seemed fun and I wanted to join and of course it asked for a user name. I didn't want to use my own name, so I either made one that reminded my own name, or I used one of my character names. If I used a character name (possibly Agath, but I'm not sure), I made up Riibu later when I registered some 10 more accounts. I was pretty into the game, back then... ^^ Unfortunately it's gone now. RuneScape is an FIORPG (others would say MM) and generally I hate them. I play it, but I only started some weeks ago, and I haven't logged in for about a week now. It's not so bad; sure, 99% of all players are complete idiots, but I usually have public chat turned off so they don't bother me. Mm, and trade too. I avoid other players as much as I can. Shield of Arrav quest? That took a while, mostly because I refused to just go and ask someone to help me out. I don't know them, dammit, and I want nothing to do with them. Anyway.. it would be better if people actually played, instead of hoarding on everything possible. I mean how hard is it to share? I have a rune pick, but I never hoard more stones if there's someone else wanting to pick as well, even if they only have an iron, or even a bronze pick. I don't need more stones. I'll fill my inv sooner or later, and there will be time. Admit it, if people valued common courtesy and politeness there, that game would rock. Since they don't... Well. Gaming goodness which would in other circumstances bring forth mirth and merriment turns into frustration for being bullied by dicks with better picks. Or something else. Fancier equipment. But Alex, I can't. I promised myself to wait until I'm ready for that. I've not yet started a single topic in general. I plan to, eventually, but it will be for a special occasion. Something akin to what TM has, but not exactly because I do it in my own way. Anyway, that's a long way off, still. And you let it slide like nothing. And those newbie topics. I mean, they post something about themselves and expect to be loved and all that, but honestly. Most often these are people we've never heard from before and never seen to do anything useful, and yet.. you love them. You don't know them! They could turn out to be complete idiots and useless spammers, but you'll just welcome them here, because gosh darn, that's the nice thing to do. The nice.. Back when I joined there wasn't so much n00bnonsense being tolerated. It got nuked down hard enough, unless it was amusing, in which case we'd allow it, but the probability of locking was always behind there. Not that some people don't try to bring back some of the old charm, but with no one else complying, it just makes them seem kind of pathetic. I think my plan to be more active isn't about topping everyone else and getting to the first place. I know I'm not that much of a poster and never been. I only want to beat a certain person, and that shouldn't be too hard, because he's not that near the top. If only you people talked about something interesting. I'd love to share my opinion on things (and raise my post count), but the topics always start so dull and uninteresting. And later when the direction of the talk takes a change into something more worthwhile, I don't know about it, because I haven't been reading the topic in the first place. When I finally take a look at the topic because I'm bored, I notice I missed an excellent chance for some .. pondering and all that. That's why I post so little. Even though I claim to read topics and to be a lurker, I really am not that much. Huh. But still.. the subjects of topics often are rather uninteresting, I stand by that.
