I tend to name them after foreign soccer players. Oliver is the traveling salesman you meet in basically every big town. You need to tell him in Silvar that the coast is clear, or else he won't come down. I think. -------------------- Great Potato "Unless by the force of eloquence they mean the force of truth; for if such is their meaning, I admit that I am eloquent." -- Socrates Posts: 126 | Registered: Thursday, September 27 2001 07:00 |

My favorite battle with drakes is in Krizsan Province in Exile III. You get a drake lord and a bunch of giant lizards on your side against a boatload of drakes and ice drakes. -------------------- Great Potato "Unless by the force of eloquence they mean the force of truth; for if such is their meaning, I admit that I am eloquent." -- Socrates Posts: 126 | Registered: Thursday, September 27 2001 07:00 |

I'd say that it's more the style of graphics that matters, as opposed to the colors. -------------------- Great Potato "Unless by the force of eloquence they mean the force of truth; for if such is their meaning, I admit that I am eloquent." -- Socrates Posts: 126 | Registered: Thursday, September 27 2001 07:00 |

Okay, the Intel models don't ship with nVidia (except for the Mac Pro, which has an even more superior nVidia option :P ). But my iMac and mother's G4 PowerBook both shipped with nVidia video cards. -------------------- Great Potato "Unless by the force of eloquence they mean the force of truth; for if such is their meaning, I admit that I am eloquent." -- Socrates Posts: 126 | Registered: Thursday, September 27 2001 07:00 |

Like I said before, I think Spaces is the most useful and time-saving of all of the changes. 10.3 brought along a host of changes and I still like Exposé and use it all the time - Spaces seems like a step up. -------------------- Great Potato "Unless by the force of eloquence they mean the force of truth; for if such is their meaning, I admit that I am eloquent." -- Socrates Posts: 126 | Registered: Thursday, September 27 2001 07:00 |

The first few contests were all blind judging. Personally I prefer this. You email your scores/reviews to the organizer, who does averages and makes a neat little webpage that will be published with scores and reviews when the judging finishes. -------------------- Great Potato "Unless by the force of eloquence they mean the force of truth; for if such is their meaning, I admit that I am eloquent." -- Socrates Posts: 126 | Registered: Thursday, September 27 2001 07:00 |

I volunteer to moderate again, unless through some stroke of fate I manage to finish my scenario (which is so close to being done it would only take a weekend if I buckled down and did it). -------------------- Great Potato "Unless by the force of eloquence they mean the force of truth; for if such is their meaning, I admit that I am eloquent." -- Socrates Posts: 126 | Registered: Thursday, September 27 2001 07:00 |

Almost all Macs in the past four-five years have shipped standard with nVidia video cards, with an option for ATI if you so desired. When you "talk" to the artilas and rogue creations, they don't understand you. You're using your shaper mind powers to control them. -------------------- Great Potato "Unless by the force of eloquence they mean the force of truth; for if such is their meaning, I admit that I am eloquent." -- Socrates Posts: 126 | Registered: Thursday, September 27 2001 07:00 |

I believe that you need a separate external HD for Time Machine to work properly.
