Wise Man got up, refreshed. He went down for breakfast, then went to visit his sister's home. The moment he entered, she threw a friendly punch at him, and he responded likewise. "Long time no see, bro," she greeted. "Come on in." Wise Man entered, and the two sat down to talk at the kitchen. "Old Kalnus is really insane now, Kyla," Wise Man sighed. "He became more and more mad as time passed. It's a good thing you weren't there when he figuratively fried his brain trying to infuse the powers of captured demons and rakshasi into himself. Now he's on a rampage to gain all the superpowers in the world, killing everything in the way." "Why didn't you stop Father early on? I mean, you never liked him. You don't even call him 'father'." "I've never been strong enough to do so. Every time I tried, he beat the crap out of me and I almost end up dead. Even now, I do not have the power to defeat him. Which is why I came down here to train." "Poor you, bro. Everything happens to people around you when it involves Father, doesn't it? So Ilofekh is gone, and so is the army, Wise Man thought. But at least I can deal with my unfinished business here now. WM dodged several elemental strike attacks from Kalnus, then rolled back and put up an energy shield to block an onslaught of ice bolts, also from the same person. Kalnus fired off a kill spell, but WM teleported past it, and delivered several thrusting blows with his glaive. The blows did no damage to Kalnus's body, but a small part of his shielding went down due to WM's soul energy. "I beat you several times before, kid," Kalnus shouted. "I can do it again!" He made a distinctly insane and inhuman roar, and sent him flying back into a lampost (OOC: the capital city has GOT to have oil lamposts, so there you go) with a shockwave. Kalnus got on top of WM, and was about to cleave his face out to finish him off... But he couldn't. Even through his insanity, he still had the sense to know that WM is his only surviving son as he had killed all his other children as well as his wife because of his bloodlust and power hunger. His few remaining shreds of sanity made him hesistate, and because of that someone had the oppurtunity to blast him off with a Fireball. Wise Man stood back up, and picked up his glaive.
