Personally, I prefer Out Before The Lock. Useful when you're taking part in a discussion that's going down in flames, and you want to remove yourself from the disgrace. In Before The Lock, on the other hand, means you want to associate yourself with something bad. For shame. -------------------- This sucks! Zombies aren't nearly as satisfying to eviscerate. Well, I lied. No, I'm still not going to write Episode 4. Yes, Nalyd and others will still appear. But Chapter 40: Cleaning Up isn't the final chapter. There will be yet another one! This is a good thing, I hope. Also, Dikiyoba is finally sick and tired of Freewebs, so the stories will need a new home soon. Preferably one that is free, easy to edit, and has good long-term stability. Arancaytar, you have the first say. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Freewebs is indeed a menace. I do find the ads funny, though... "Squirrel Control Center", "Taco Bell Responds", "Knockout Transgenic Mice", and "Lab Animal Guillotines". Assumedly they all have something to do with the story... Anyway, I'm curious as to what's left to conclude. -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. I hate undead. Nice, since I avoided any clean up work. We really need a better system for cleaning up. Maybe Aran could make a bot to help out. I see why this isn't over. On to chapter 41. Of course the episode could never end with the work on Nethergate forum coming in a few months as chapter 42. Episode 3 - the Neverending Story. I love it, Diki. And I found it hilarious I'm not counted as a BoA designer. :) -------------------- And when you want to Live How do you start? Where do you go? Who do you need to know? *Name by Slarty, so blame him if it's filthy... Posts: 2864 | Registered: Monday, September 8 2003 07:00 |

Well, sorry, but Dikiyoba couldn't have you whine and design at the same time. :P Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

You know, that Dr. Strange cover has some pretty weird anatomy. And the 'most mystical hero' becomes substantially less impressive when you consider that he's going to do all his adventures in sock feet. -------------------- We're not doing cool. You know, Dikiyoba, you could take a breather and get back to Episode 4 later (if at all, your choice of course). -------------------- You Shall Die Laughing: http://www.worfthecat.ermarian.net/converted The Roost: www.roost01.proboards104.com. On to BoA design, indeed. I have a feeling I really need to play KoL, if just to understand what Andra and Salmon were talking about. -------------------- Do not provoke the turtles. For the record, The Doctor plays the Kingdom of Loathing too, if it makes any difference. He has a Pastamancer, Seal Clubber, and an Accordion Thief. And Sara's idea sound nice. . . Uh oh. The Doctor is dangerously close to an -X- relapse. Abort! ABORT!!!*Transmission cuts off* -------------------- May the fires of Undeath burn in your soul, and consume it. Oh, I see. And of the two, I think you made the right choice. I just hope that in years to come I'm remembered for my lustful ways and BoA design (and maybe my writing), instead of my constant whinging... :P And am I the only one who thinks that "The Doctor" needs to stop playing on the fact that he's now a reformed member, and actually BE a reformed member... -------------------- And when you want to Live How do you start? Good. Hatred. You know, The Doctor will go back to -X-, if you prefer. He leaves it up to Walrus over there to decide. -------------------- May the fires of Undeath burn in your soul, and consume it. Posts: 1636 | Registered: Wednesday, January 5 2005 08:00 |

Yes! I am the Walrus, and all of my plans are poised to be set into motion! Gah. I need to listen to the White Album again... Seriously, changing is great. Aran used to spam like nobody's business, and even used "lol" in a post (the horror!). He was a pox. We even considered moving just to get rid of him. But now he doesn't spam (as much). And he deletes the "lol". And he doesn't mention that he was a terrible poster after every post, either. Not being "-X-" is a good thing. You just don't have to keep alluding to the fact that you were. All I'm saying is that, you know, just be NORMAL, and quit saying "Oh, almost slid back into the prat I keep reminding you all of". It's not big or clever. (Oh, and Aran, I'm sorry :P ) -------------------- And when you want to Live How do you start? Where do you go? Alright, sorry. But it's an inherent part of The Doctor's personality to try and stop all goodwill that comes his way. As for normal? Ha! Look at the moniker. At least -X- was unique. We already have one doctor. -------------------- You Shall Die Laughing: http://www.worfthecat.ermarian.net/converted The Roost: www.roost01.proboards104.com. Birds of a feather flock together. Posts: 794 | Registered: Thursday, July 27 2006 07:00 |

If you'll recall, two more X's joined within a month of The Doctor. Nikki has two X's in his name, and Nioca used the moniker -X- once to demonstrate how easy it is to imitate other members. -------------------- May the fires of Undeath burn in your soul, and consume it. Wasn't me. I pointed out that a member was impersonating you (Member 5814, if I remember correctly), but I've never impersonated anybody. He or she did point out how easy it is to impersonate someone, though. -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. Needless to say, I failed.
