Hmm, but alot of the Irish have married Italians or Germans, but you said the Irish Catholics are a big part of the population. And bye the way, I am not pure Italian, but that has nothing to do with marriage. See my ancestors went frome Countrie to Countrie, it was the Viking Gene in them. Actually the stories of the Potato famine is not faint in alot of Irish American homes. Alot of Irish Americans still keep the tales of the potato famine close to there hearts, eventhough it happend a long time ago. See the potato famine is there heritage, and unlike accints Heritage does not fade away overe the years. I would know this for the stories of my Italian heritage have not faded away over the years. I was talking about African and Asian Dictators after Euro Colonializm. Look there use to be a Military Dictator of Uganda a few years ago named Eddie Armien Dalah. Eddie Armien Dalah loved to do two things, one was to watch Tom and Jerry cartoons. The otther was to eat people, he use to eat people. So it's the Unionists fighting the IRA. Sounds like the Alqueda fighting The U.S Federal Government, only the War on Terrorism is on a much larger scale. I blame the U.S media for not covering it, all though the media has there hands full with Iraq. It seems like the only thing that makes the news is everything going on in the MidEast. Okay, Okay, so I was a bit biosed to the Europeon side. But all I'm trying to say is that Africa and Asia would be far worse today if it wasn't for Imperialism. And everyone blamnes The White Eros for the reasone why Africa is so screwed up. And yes the Euros did do much bad for Africa. But has anyone thought that maybe one of the reasons why Africa has all the problems is because of the Black African Dictators who ran Africa before and after the Whites where running Africa. K, Africa and Asia was bad during The Age of Imperialism, but they where even worse before during the Age of Isolation. Today there is many areas in Africa where there are Political instabilitity, ect. But there are prosperous parts of Africa, mainly the cities in Africa, it's the jungles where the Gorila groups are. But the cities are very prosperous, and if it wasn't for Imperialism where would those cities be today.So there was good that came out of The Age of Imperialism, but off course in Africa there is alot of Civil Wars and political instability. And that did originate frome Imperialism. As for Asia they had a bad time off course, but I think there making up for it now. Well before The Euro's brought Christianity, Imperilism, Industrialism, and a Western Style Constitution Africa and Asia was pitifull. The Great African and Asian Empires which we have allready mentioned had fallen. Mainly because at the end they couldn't maintain there Empires. So in Africa you had little waring tribes, and China and Japan in Asia at the time was isolated frome the rest of the world. However when Imperialism, Idustrialism, and a Western style constitution reached Africa and Asia, Cities where built.Schools where built, Africans and Asians could send there kids too schools so they could become educated. Factories came so the Africans and Asians had jobs, snd the Western Style constitution brought Democracy to Africa and Asia. Sure they used the Africans and Asians has a low form of labour, they took away there land and wealth, and they carved up Africa and Asia without there permission, not to mention that they forced Christianity and Democracy upon them, and they didn't wan't To be converted to Christianity and live a Democratic form of life. Ahh yes, The Britts and the Irish have been fighting for many years. The IRA wants N Ireland to be part of The Republic of South Ireland, and the Brittish Government wants N Ireland to remain part of Great Brittian. I went to a message board and the topic was a English- Irish debate. There was much tension between those two Eccnic groups.It is like The Jews and Musliums conflict in Isreal, or like The North and South issue in The U.S before the civil war. Like I said I love The US, I have no problems with The Gove, I just hate big Companies. The U.S is not as bad as every one thinks. I am not going to get into Asia because I didn't learn too much about Asia and Africa in School. My state Education department didn't think anything vital came out of Asia and Africa. They forgot about Egypt, Nubia, The Moors, Malie, Shunghi, Mongolia, The Hunns, and tons of otther Asian Empires. However I did learn about Brittish History. The U.S had a dark period but so did Brittian. Brittian had Kings and queens like Bloody Marry, King James 1, King Charles 1, Military Dictator Oliver Cromwel, King George, and King Henrry 8. But Brittian allso had good periods like The Victorian period, The Elizabethan period, The Industrial Revolution, Times of Nationalism and Imperialism, and The of course the time when, "The Sun never set on The Brittish Empire".So like Brittian and Russia the U.S had bad times, but it allso had good times. Look,What is wrong with saying Happy 4'th of July. I'll say it right now, HAPPY 4'th OF JULY. There is nothing wrong with celebrating a National Holiday. The Britts celebrate Saints Day, The Mexicans Celebrate The 6'th of May, The French Celebrate there own 4'th of July, and The Greeks Celebrate when they won there Independence frome the Ottoman Empire. So there is nothing wrong with saying Happy 4'th of July, It's like saying good mourning. What is wrong with saying Good Mourning, nothing at all.
