At first a year ago I had no idea what was going on and if Invading Iraq was justified. Now I know what I think of this war. If the war was intended to replace a mad dictator and insert a democracy than yes, or actions where more than justified. But we didn't do this to get rid of Saddame, we did it for our own interests. Of which I havent figured out yet, and I might never figure it out. But I know we did it for our own reasons, and I do not believe this war was justified. -------------------- Look Ma, I'm banned! Listen, I really don't want to talk about this subject. But I feel I have to. I know this is going to start a flame war but I have to say it. I am now going to make a refrence to God. I have nothing against God. But I hate when people kill in his name. I am going to put my opinion of MLK aside, and I am just going to say what I feel about what people did in his name. Whenever MLK would make his speeches thousands of African Americans would riot in his name. They would go into peoples houses and brake. They raped people, muged people, and many of these people where of there own race. Now how is that trying to gain human rights and racial equality. Now as for Malcom X. He lead The Black Panters. And I don't know if anyone here knows about this but the Black Panters where into alot of shady activity. They use to do rob banks, sell drugs, kidnap people. All too fund there activities. And the FBI was actually watching them, I believe they actually made treats to The Government. And there actually African Americans today who say what the Black Panters did was wrong. This is my theory of Police agencies and such. I think that alot corrupted cops are corrupted because they where harassed when they went to Highschool. They feel Society was mistreating them there entire lives. And now that they have the power they will get back or even with society. That's my theory with the lowranking departments such as City or state. Now for the high ranking departments such as The FBI or CIA. The corruption in those agencies are caused by people trying to find other people. And so a let's say a FBI agent will make a deal with a group to find info about another group. You do not have to look any further than Boston, MA than to find out info on that. In the world of the FBI, CIA mounties Info is like money and has a very high value. Honestly I think if we where going to do the right thing by Iraq and forgive me for saying we all the time. The US would atleast try to set up a democracy or a republic or a capitalistic system in Iraq. And I don't think you need a army to set up a democracy. Chances are though Bush will be re-elected for the next four years and he will probably start several more wars. But hey my family still does own 1/6 of land in Southern Italy. I know I have basically devouted my life to geting people angry on this message board. And I am not trying to sound like the radicals on this site. But lately I have been asking myself one question, WTF are we still in Iraq? I personally belief we should no longer be in that country. So I have written a poem about what I feel about The War in Iraq. This is The Poem. A region which is divided by many eccnic groups. American Soldiers getting killed by the thousand each day. And why are we there, greed, power, prestige. Or maybe could it be for just plain biggotry. Reasons that started this war that are too complex for me to understand. And I will probably never understand why this war was started. To help the people would be a good reason, but I doubt that was the reason. But should we still be there, I honestly think we shouldn't. But don't listen to me, I have been called simple and stupid. For there are minds much greater than mine who probibly know why this war was started. But my intelligence is not like theres. But allthough my intelligence is not the highest and I probably am not worthy enough to write this poem. I do not think we should remain in the region in the middle of the east. For too many young lives are getting killed, and too many familys are loosing there younger members. But if there was a purpose that I could see I would say we should remain. But I do not see any purpose that would lead me to think we should remain. And so I belief and I would die by the belief that we must end that bloody war. The End. This is my Info on LHO and the man who shot him, Ruby. LHO was working for some Marxest Organization. He actually lived in Russa and was obssed with Castro. He was born in New Orleans but was raised in Newyork City. He had trouble finding work and most of his family knew he was no good. The only members of his family who loved him was his wife and sister and he treated them badly. LHO and his sister and wife moved to Dallas Texas and his sister found him a job in a libarry. Even the Russans knew he was a idiot and wanted no part of him. But after he slit his rists the Russans gave him a job in a factory. After a few days he quit. Then he returned to the U.S. Ruby was a small time Bookie from Chicago. He tried to become big time in the underworld but even the mafia knew he too was a idiot and wanted no part of him. He was what one would say, "A WannaBe". He then came down to Dallas and started a small time Strip club. He was friendly with alot of cops because they had the power to shut him down. Plus it enhanced is fantasies of being a big time gangsta. Not too many people wanted anything to do with him because he was just a small time strip club owner-Bookie. in short he was a looser. So LHO was a small time thug and Ruby was a small time thug. No way could two small time thugs put a assasination attempt like this together. This is my theory, Ruby and Oswald would never amount to much more than what they where. Oswald was a KGB wannabe and Ruby was a Mafia wannabe. So a party that was very politically connected came up to LHO and said, "I will Set you're family up for the rest of there lifes financially if you kill JFK". And Then They came to Ruby and Said, " If you kill LHO we'll set your family up for the rest of there lives. And they knew JR would die of cancer soon. So LHO kills Kennedy, Ruby kills oswald and Ruby dies of cancer soon after. So Kennedies killed and both of the pawns that did the dirty work are dead. So nobodies going to talk because both velons are dead. The Gove says LHO acted alone and the party or parties walk away and The velons families are set up for the rest of there lives.
