Applegate, which was good, but by no means was is the best series ever. It's still my favorite series I've read so far. Right now I'm reading Watership Down by Richard Adams. It's about fluffy bunny rabbits and it's awesome. As for nonfiction, I'd say my least favorite of what I've read would have to be This Boy's Life by Tobias Wolff. He had a hard life, okay. But lots of people have much harder lives and don't write books about it. Nothing good can come of reading that book. It's boring and dull and it doesn't offer any inspiration or hope or anything, just dull depressing crap. Don't read it. Therefore, either the Bible is not telling you the whole truth when it says God didn't want them to eat from the tree, or it's not telling you the whole truth when it says God is infallible. Therefore, either way, the Bible is lying to you. I, personally, like to wear clothes that I like, not because others think they look good (because they certainly don't, but because I think they look good and they make me feel good. I am wearing a Trogdor The Burninator hoodie right now, for instance. Not fashionable at all (actually rather childish) and it isn't particularly flattering on me. It's not even very comfortable compared to my other three hoodies. It's a little too small. But I like it anyway because I like the way it looks. As for the issue of thongs not being comfortable, I have something to say. And no, I don't wear them myself, to anticipate the otherwise inevitable comment from Alec and/or TM. I don't talk much in school, but the others around me do, which means I get to hear a lot of conversations. During one that I remember, several girls were talking about their underwear. Most of them said that thongs were much more comfortable than regular panties. Only one disagreed, and she had never tried on a thong. It's just like the ever-present "boxers or briefs" discussions that occur between men. Many men will say that boxers are more comfortable than briefs, but I disagree. It's all a matter of personal opinion. I find the fact that it's only the males in this discussion who are saying that today's women's fashions are uncomfortable. How would you know? Even if you had tried on a women's thong, there's still the fact that they weren't designed to accommodate male genitals. The only ones mentioned in this thread that I haven't heard many people are high heels, which I've noticed the majority of girls at my school dislike wearing, and tube tops, which I've never heard any woman one way or the other whether they were comfortable or not. In it, all the gods of the old religions nobody believes in anymore, such as the Greek, Roman, Celtic, Aztec, Egyptian, and Norse gods, got bored of our world (the Old World, as they call it) and decided to create their own universe (Everworld) and move in. Not that this really adds anything too relevant to the discussion, but I figured I'd say it anyway. As for punishment after death, I tend to think more about the reward and heaven aspect than punishment, partly because I like to think that if there is any punishment, it is not eternal, and that after the punishment is done, you go to heaven. April Fools in General

It's fairly difficult to come up with a way to impale yourself with a scooter, let alone survive it. The fact that it was April Fools Day just made it even more suspicious. I was never any good at April Fools jokes. When I was little, I used to point at people and say "Look! There's a crocodile(/elephant/lion) on your head!" Then they'd humor me and put on a show of shock and I'd shout "April fools!" Just for my own amusement, I IM'd several people today and said "OMG THERE'S AN ALIGATOR ON YOUR HEAD!" But I don't really do April Fools Day. By the way, www.oddtodd.com and www.homestarrunner.com have their traditional April Fools jokes up today. Tomorrow there will probably be a link to the prank on Todd's main page, and HR should too, but if not it can probably be accessed by clicking on Toons and then Holiday.
